Staff was amazing! Room and hotel was clean. Beds and pillows were super comfy! I would definitely stay again!! Thanks ladies for being So sweet and kind!

Could use a little updating. I would rather it be outdated and clean, than newer and dirty! Shower screech terribly, pressure was nice, but the screeching was super annoying! The hotel manager made a note of it and said she'd look into it! Our neighbors in room 210 thought it was acceptable to have shouting matches (in a hotel) after 2am and again after 4am. The front desk took care of it! If you were in room 210 on 9/29, your parents failed you by not teaching you how to behave in society, or maybe you didn't listen to them. Extremely disrespectful! I'm glad the workers were on it and controlled the situation! The manager was so upset that we didn't get a good night's rest that she gave me a discount on a future visit! The hotel can't stop stupidity, but they did control it!

The location was central to the places we were going. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. In general it was a very clean facility.

1. The continental breakfast was poor to say the least. The biscuits were stale and broke apart while eating them. We ate there the first day and then skipped it the other three mornings we were there. 2. There was a dog that lived in the house/apartment next door that barked noon-stop until the wee hours of the morning. 3. My room was not serviced the entire four nights of my stay. I think that it could have least been vacuumed and towels and toiletries restocked at least once during my stay. 4) The water pressure in the shower was extremely low. 5) The curtains were designed to not close all the way and allowed the outside lights to light up the room all night and provided no privacy.

The breakfast was wonderful and I really liked the coffee!! My room was very nice and the bed very very nice to sleep on and the pillows were very luxurious!

As I do not enjoy popcorn, I really disliked the smell of popcorn on Sunday morning when I woke up. I think it is a very sickening smell and i was at the top of the steps so it seemed to come right up there to the area where my room was. Perhaps it doesn't need to be popped so early in the morning or perhaps the location of the popcorn machine could be moved or better. Ventilation could be provided. Just my suggestions.

Pleasant Moose Lodge is in a great location for all your day trips. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We checked in late (after 11pm) and the front desk was very helpful and explained all the amenities available. Their breakfast is simple, but it beats any chain I’ve ever stayed at. They make the scrambled eggs with fresh eggs not the powdered form. You can not beat the price and service. This was my second time staying here and I look forward to returning in the future.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Very cozy feeling as soon as you walk in the door, the hosts were so nice and friendly! They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves! They even went above and beyond for breakfast and had some homemade biscuits and gravy, sausage and a few other things. My favorite place we stayed at hands down. We went to Tahquamenon Falls, Lake Kitch iti kipi, and did some hiking around chapel falls! All within an hour drive of the hotel

There wasn’t really much I didn’t like about it? I think we should have gone earlier in the fall since we went on the off season but that’s our fault not theirs.

The room was a good size and clean. The amenities were great! Had coffee, fresh popped pop corn, milk, hard boiled eggs available 24 hours a day. Breakfast eggs were REAL eggs haha. Staff was great and happy to accommodate our early arrival.

The lodge was absolutely fine. Newberry is a regular town, not touristy and also not close to the activities we were there for, Tahquamenon Falls (30 minutes) and Picture Rock (1 hour), but we we aware of that when we made the reservation. Overall it was a great place to stay!

Was pleasantly surprised with a variety of breakfast items available. The only thing that wasn't available was some fresh fruit that would have been nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Wish it would have been some fresh fruit available at the breakfast. The side door to get in and out from the parking lot had a keypad but evidently it never locked .I did check with the staff about it. I was thinking that maybe it locked at a certain time at night . I was told that was not the case.

The breakfast was great. The rooms were clean but a little dated. We thought it was a great place overall and actually decided to spend a second night there on our return trip. Was close to a couple good places for dinner as well. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Great value.

The first night we had a room with 2 queen beds and the mattresses were a little to soft for us but our second night was in a room with a king bed and that mattress was fantastic.

Great central location to visit the UP. The lodge and room were clean and the complimentary bottled water and popcorn were a nice touch. Staff were always helpful and extremely welcoming. We were there for four nights and our room was not serviced during our stay. I personally like this. If you need anything, they were quick to respond.

The bed was a little uncomfortable but I usually desire a firmer mattress. I was so exhausted every night. I slept well anyway

Staff is super friendly, hotel is super clean, and all of the extra touches really make this a stellar hotel. I arrived near 10pm and they greeted me with a smile. There were complimentary goodies. Breakfast was real eggs, sausage, fruit, waffles. And of course more friendly faces. I felt safe. I slept well. I will be coming back and bringing guests. I really enjoyed staying here.
