Very cozy feeling as soon as you walk in the door, the hosts were so nice and friendly! They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves! They even went above and beyond for breakfast and had some homemade biscuits and gravy, sausage and a few other things. My favorite place we stayed at hands down. We went to Tahquamenon Falls, Lake Kitch iti kipi, and did some hiking around chapel falls! All within an hour drive of the hotel

There wasn’t really much I didn’t like about it? I think we should have gone earlier in the fall since we went on the off season but that’s our fault not theirs.

Great central location to visit the UP. The lodge and room were clean and the complimentary bottled water and popcorn were a nice touch. Staff were always helpful and extremely welcoming. We were there for four nights and our room was not serviced during our stay. I personally like this. If you need anything, they were quick to respond.

The bed was a little uncomfortable but I usually desire a firmer mattress. I was so exhausted every night. I slept well anyway

Warm, friendly "just right" interactions w/ staff, clean facility and space, large, combined breakfast space/dining area, at least1 staff was always at hand to assist IN dining area; sufficient and orderly location of trash receptacle; interior space and guest room spacious and clean; check in-out was orderly; pleasantly quiet at night.Personal touches of attractiveness throughout,e.g. small vases of flowers in hallway, large pots of flower at front entrance.Modest but well-stocked shopping room. Convenient location.

Breakfast was substantial but eggs were somewhat uninviting.Age is beginning to show, perhaps a paint touch-up might be in order.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff did a great job keeping things full especially the older gentleman working. He was very friendly and attentive!! Your location is great because we brought our sxs's and could go out the back on the trail!

Everything was great but just a thought would to have body soap in the rooms instead of bar soap. Most people use body soap. Thank you for considering this option!

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortable and came with adequate amenities. Having a microwave in the room was an added bonus. I will be returning to stay again in the near future. Happy to have found somewhere to stay that felt safe and secure as a solo traveller.

Pleasant Moose Lodge is by far the best place I’ve stayed at in Newberry so far. The staff was amazing, the breakfast was really good, my room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. I would 100% recommend this as the place to stay if you are planning on making a trip to Newberry Michigan.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast bar -- so many choices I know were hard to keep fresh and warm, which they did! Beds were comfy and so many pillows!

We had hoped we might upgrade to a king when we arrived, but none available. Not anything Pleasant Moose Lodge could help.

The staff was beyond friendly, helpful. Ever single person who worked there. The breakfast was excellent. Had popcorn handy 24 hours and always fresh. Hot chocolate always handy. Nice little gift store. We went there for snowmobile trip. Very easy to get to trail. Gas and food right next door. Plenty of trailer parking. Rooms plenty of room. Refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave in room. Every part of this lodge was clean..Loved the hand painted pictures in lobby and the fake palms. Staff was always cleaning. We will definitely stay here again.

It was so perfect I had to think what I don't like. Only change I would suggest is make shower curtain rod, the curve one- to give more room. But this was nothing that was a big deal

The beds were very comfortable, the room spotless, and the breakfast was bountiful and delicious! The staff are very friendly and eager to accommodate their guests. Special recognition really needs to be given to Deb, the manager - she not only runs an efficient, well organized business, but does so with genuine warmth and friendliness to provide a home like, relaxed atmosphere for all. We will definitely be going back!

We only stayed 2 nights...

Easy to find, plenty of parking and centrally located. Provides canoes/boat for the lake. Barbecue/smoker for your catch of the day if you’re fishing.

Bathroom/shower a little tight, but everything was clean!
