Easy to find after good contact from Rosie who was awaiting our arrival. Large secure parking area. Spacious room with all advertised facilities and a nice private shaded outside space with Braii. Additional seating at a the pool area close to the main house. Very comfortable bed. Effective air conditioning and a TV set up with all channels listed for ease of use. Rosie left us an insect repellent to protect us whilst enjoying our evening Braii and because of a recent local issue with regard to the water supply she left a large container of fresh water so we didn't need to use the tap water. Large breakfast area at the main house where we had fruit and yoghurt following which Rosie freshly cooked an excellent hot breakfast. Cute main street in Steytlerville but we didn't explore locally as were only staying 1 night. Rosie's place was perfect for us.

Nothing to dislike.

Rosie was so welcoming and gave us loads of information about the area. The Villa is within walking distance of all the little gems the town has to offer. There is an inverter at the property, so we didn't have to worry about load-shedding and/or our safety as a result. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although we were the only guests, we were treated to a lovely home-cooked breakfast in the morning, at a time that suited us. The lounge area is huge and there are lots of magazines, books and board games to keep any visitor entertained. The garden is beautiful!

Everything was great.

Rosie and her place were accommodating and cosy. She added a personal touch by meeting us on arrival and seeing us of when we left. The shared dining/ living room was inviting and had an interesting combination of furniture to make it feel homely and inviting. The breakfast was super nice and just to our taste. Safe parking for both our car and motorbike trailer was an added bonus and the garden was beautifully maintained and a feast for the eye.

The swimming pool in the Karoo midsummer heat. The friendly, courteous and always helpful staff. The immaculately clean facilities. And the breakfast thrown in made the whole stay extremely good value. And Steytlerville is a revelation, with the wide double-laned main street, not a scrap of litter visible, the impressive NG Church, and intriguing touches like the coats of arms of local families along the main street. There is a general 'livable' feel about the place.

It is a lovely old house with lots of character and a beautiful garden. The room was cosy and comfortable and the lounge, dining area made one feel at home. Rosie, the host was very kind and helpful and the breakfast delicious. Awesome place for a solo traveller like myself.

Nothing, I liked it all.

The friendly welcome, and how at home we felt was the highlight of our short stay. The room was well appointed with quality linen and comfortable beds. The bathroom was spotless and well designed. We have already recommended Steytlerville Villa to friends travelling in that direction.

Nothing to complain about.

Rosie is a great host and her place lacks for absolutely nothing. From perfect wi fi ,to gas heaters, to braai facilities and utensils, and Dstv......this place has it all,.....including a comprehensive and tasty full breakfast. Oh,....forgot to mention the fact that it also has inverters for these terrible blackouts forced on us by the ANC.

Absolutely nothing

A beautifully decorated, welcoming place with great attention to detail. Everything was thought of and provided to make our stay very comfortable. Our host, Rosie, was friendly and informative. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and made use of the refreshing swimming pool.

For our preference the beds were a little too soft but they were made up in crisp, clean linen and the room was very inviting.

Quiet, no tv, walking distance from shops, honesty bar, swimming pool clean and private, meals had value for money, sufficient parking, beautiful scenery and friendly staff. Owner made immediate assistance for firearms too.

Wish we could stay longer!

The atmosphere and history of the villa is great. The gardens are a delight. The entire property exudes peace and calm. The rooms are large with big beds and impeccable linens. Your host Rosie, makes sure your stay will be memorable
