We loved the exceptional and warm hospitality, the beautifully designed room with comfy bed, amazing breakfasts (best. eggs. ever.), gorgeous pool area with landscaped garden, ability to walk to two charming towns for dinner, close proximity to the sandy beaches (including "Maldives of Salento") on Ionian coast, and Roberta and Linda offering just the perfect recommendations on where to go--whether to a local restaurant, favorite lido, or Tricase's Farmacia Balboa for a killer cocktail while gazing onto an idyllic piazza. Additional pluses: excellent massage, lovely guests met at breakfast, and the cutest four-legged friend, Shela, there to greet your return every day. Already looking forward to the next visit!

excellent breakfast facilitating rest for omelette; the hosts are so friendly and helpful - advising on local restaurants and booking for us - and I recommend taking their guidance on restaurants. We only stayed two nights but wish we had stayed there longer just a really lovely place.

nothing - just a lovely chilled spot to kickback and relax - near enough to local sight seeing spots to go visiting - because of the area you do need your own transport, to get to the local restaurants its about a 10 - 15 minute walk.

Super friendly and helpful, lovely house, spacious and comfortable room, great breakfast, good location. The sisters, Linda and Roberta, make you feel like home. We hope to return one day.

Lovely sisters who hosted us. Beautiful villa very thoughtfully decorated. Wonderful breakfast spread. The pool was lovely but sadly too cold when we visited for us to swim. Gave us very useful advice on driving routes and places to visit too

Breakfast was excellent, local produce and home cooked. A family run Masseria, the owners booked a vine tour and restaurants for us, advised on local sights and routes, everything worked perfectly.

Very charming place, beautifully furnished; very quiet during night time, we were able to rest well; rooms are very nice and very clean, as well as the common spaces. The owner are very attentive and welcoming.

A surprise gem with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We have recommended this to our friends who want to visit the south of puglia

Masseria Palane really is one in a million! This was by far the best place we have stayed at during our 2 weeks in South Italy. The Masseria itself is located close to some smaller villages, and a short drive from Santa Maria de Leuca - you basically get best of both worlds: quiet countryside location, but still close to everything. The building has been tastefully renovated recently and enjoys a fantastic garden with pool, rooms are spacious and well equipped. But the best thing about Masseria Palane are the owners: really amazing people, super friendly and making sure that you’re getting the best out of your stay at any point in the day. From the homemade crostata at breakfast, over giving you advice on where to go and finding reservations for restaurants, to knowing just exactly when you look like you need an aperitivo! Roberta and Linda are just the most amazing hosts we have had.
