The room was really nice, great services most days bed was made and towels replaced by cleaners. They emptied out bins etc. room was super spacious plenty of room to do some exercises etc in the morning.

Only down side was that it has basic amenities so need to eat out etc and sort own food but that wasn't a problem as the location was superb with lots of options around. I'd also say would of been nice to have a standard kettle opposed to the coffee machine as if we wanted hot water we had to try use an old coffee pod to trick it into giving us the hot water.

It was clean and comfortable Housekeeping was friendly and helpful, beds were very comfy and it was so nice to have 2 bathrooms. Nice view of the bridge!

The immediate area was a little bit rough but the location in general was very convenient. Upon checkout the front desk clerk tried to charge us “a few dollars “ for each bag that we wanted to keep in storage until our uber arrived, and then told us it had to be cash, then said nevermind its free. Then when we checked out he was on his phone clearly on a JOB interview for another job so he couldn’t help us. Great stay, bad ending. I think it was just the one employee though who seems to be not long for the job.

Cleanliness: The property/room/common areas were generally clean. Location: The location is close to many subway stations and right in Chinatown. It's quite central and feels safe. Even as a solo traveler, I didn’t have any safety issues even late at night. It’s also within walking distance to Soho. The room I stayed in (Room 302) had an amazing bridge view. The location is really excellent. Hotel Amenities: The bed in the room was very comfortable. The hotel has areas where you can get drinking water and hot water. The WiFi connection was good. The staff was also helpful. Especially Ricardo at the front desk was very kind and hospitable. I've seen him helping everyone during the nights I stayed, and I truly think he deserves a raise.

My room didn’t have a mini fridge, which I think would be a nice addition. The bed was too big for the room, leaving very little space to open my suitcase. I think if the beds were slightly smaller, the room would feel much more spacious. :)

Great staff, excellent location, clean room, amazing view from our window, I would choose it again! Not a luxurious hotel, but fair deal, not missing anything. No breakfast served in the hotel, leading me however to discover nearby bagel shops and wonderful bakeries, cafes and dessert places. A true "aroma" of multinational Manhattan, covers the area. By the way, within waking distance from Brooklyn Bridge and other area landmarks. In spite of what we had been told, the subway worked very well for us and stations are extremely close to the hotel.

We were extremely happy with our stay here. The staff was very kind and helpful. They let us drop off our luggage before and after our stay, and brought us extra bedsheets on request. The room was spacious enough to store all our luggage and still have room to move around; all the facilities were clean and comfortable. The view from our room was also great. The location is unbeatable, close to bus & subway, and it's pretty easy to reach most places in manhattan/brooklyn within an hour max. There's plenty of bodegas and restaurants nearby where you can have a delicious meal for 5-10$. The area is also very safe, I felt comfortable walking around on my own as a woman, even in the evening. The hotel is also family owned and operated, so a great choice instead of supporting a chain. All in all nothing to complain about and great value for your money!

The room is spacious enough for 3 people. It got all the things we need in the hotel. I like that the TV has firestick that I can Log in my amazon account to. They have daily cleaning service which they did a good job cleaning our room. The view of the manhattan bridge through our window was very nicee. The hotel is very close to chinatown and little italy and all the food places we wanted to go to are just a walk away.

It is a busy area. You can hear noises and ambulance siren going off from outside. Im used to city noise so it did not bother me. But it may not be the same from other who needs a quiet place to stay.

good location close to two separate subway stops and a number of different lines, helpful and friendly staff, vending machine and water in basement so no need to leave premises for snacks, clean facilities, large bathroom and fantastic shower. room a bit on the smaller side (booked deliberately as a solo traveller on a budget), so would choose a larger room next time!

not a complaint as such, but room was directly next to the elevator so large, loud groups were very audible through the wall (personal behaviour obviously not the fault of the hotel), aside from that was perfect for what I needed!

This is a gem of a little hotel right in the thick of Canal Street/Chinatown/Soho nearby/LES. This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Hotel Leon and the staff have all been exceptionally friendly and helpful and professional. The rooms are very clean, the bed and pillows extremely comfortable and high quality. The bathrooms are newly renovated and very good. I was really surprised at how good this hotel is--I normally stay at fancier places, but I will return to this hotel - it is excellent value for $$ and the staff really go out of their way to be helpful. You can leave your luggage there after or before checking out for free. Most other hotels charge a small fee.

No-frills, accessible option for accomodation in Manhattan, without exorbitant pricing or in the middle of the confusion. Staff is available and accomodating. Service was impeccable, holding our bags before check-in and after check-out, and providing a good crib for a 7 month old to sleep in. Also, REALLY clean rooms and facilities, comfy and warm rooms. The double rooms have a pretty good area, and are a really good option for families travelling. Neighborhood is Chinatown, which on paper might not seem the best, but in reality is pretty chill and away from more busy places in the city, which is a plus.

Service over the phone could be a bit better. We tried contacting beforehand to figure out the best accommodation for a family of 5, but the phone conversation wasn't helpful (directed to check on website). In the end it all worked out.

Beautifully clean rooms, new modern showers. Great location, near Metro so access was great.

The man at reception was unfriendly and unwelcoming, and he was there most of the time. The females had a better approach to guests.
