The Lost Camel is a great stay. I chose it this time because it was a lower budget option from the usual apartment I stay in. The facilities and rooms are small but great and just as comfortable as the more expensive rooms. There's a fridge/ tea making facilities etc. The shower is great, good aircon, comfy bed and there is a free laundry service, a pool, and it's quiet and private. I made good use of the pool as it was so hot. It's a very short walk to the shops and food outlets in Townsquare. There is a carpark across the road and you can unload your cases at the front door.

No complaints, it's brilliant. A small thing to note that there are no windows or veranda/ patio in these rooms. However they are well lit and there are frosted windows in the bathroom allowing natural light. You can go sit by the pool or anywhere in this amazing resort.

I enjoyed my stay at The Lost Camel. It’s part of the greater Ayers Rock Resort, and while breakfast isn’t included in the daily rate, I had good meal options at the cafes and eateries nearby. I even treated myself to a buffet dinner at the nearby Sails in the Desert. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and I really liked the layout with the sink, shower, and toilet separate from one another. The shower was basically its own little room. All in all, the amenities were very good. I just wish I had made time to use the pool! Also, there are free shuttle services—one to take you to and from the airport as well as one to take you around the resort and its various sites and activities. The hotel is good at keeping you informed of the line up of (free) activities and experiences available at the resort, all of which are a stone’s throw from the hotel or a quick shuttle drive away.

Centrally located. I liked the markets that were on. The camel farm was great and I had a great sunrise experience

More shade umbrellas for the pool area would be more comfortable in the heat. Cheaper food options for breakfast is needed. The park pass was fair price for 3 days but the shuttle each day to go there was pricey.

Super convenient, good practical room with aircon already on when we arrived, friendly staff who tried to help even with our unfortunately too late requests, and everything you could need for a good stay in this area. I can imagine it isn't the fanciest of the resort locations in the area but this was definitely nice.

The only comment I have is that it would make sense to check mobility requirements to book travellers who have trouble with stairs on the lower floor. The lack of an elevator made it a big effort to get in and out of the room and due to not knowing about this we didn't ask for a ground floor room in advance. I've learned to consider this more and will ask about this kind of thing in the future but it'd be nice to be asked / informed when booking.

Ayer's Rock resort is the only place you can stay around Uluru, it's very well designed and integrated with nature. Our hotel was really nice yet had no wow factor. The rooms were large and well appointed, it also had a nice pool. We didn't have breakfast included as we were up really early for sun rise adventures, but tried the Native High Tea one afternoon at Sails in the Desert (sister property) which was really nice. We also had dinner once at Ilkari (large choice buffet style) which was delicious. All in all, a great experience in the Red Centre!

Lay out of room was good for its size Comfortable bed, but they kept separating and moving during the night. Maybe a chock or latch to keep them in position could help.

Tv didn’t work No channel apart from in house info channel 1 worked and the pool needs heating. Penguins Would love the pool. If was like the Antarctic waters . Restaurants and bar’s should identify that they affiliate members of Accor. I missed opportunities to utilise my membership. I didn’t realise my breakfast lunch and dinner. I could’ve got for a members Price.

Excellent location adjacent to Uluru town centre with lots of dining options nearby. The pool looks enticing but we didn't use them as we were pushed for time.

The only negatives was that there are no lifts, we had to lug our luggage up the stairs which gets quite trick. Further to this the doors are not sound proof. we had adjoining room having full on conversation at 5am in the morning (they were probably out to catch sun-rise at ayers rock) and we can hear every single conversation.

The location was perfect. It was within walking distance to the “Town Centre” where IGA, souvenir shops, restaurant, cafe and takeaway are located. I attended the free interesting an informative Cultural talks at the Town Centre and the open Amphitheatre. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a pool there, but we didn’t have enough time to use it. Staff were friendly and helpful. We found the daily activity schedule and information provided helpful. Would have been good to have stayed there an extra night.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

The hotel is in part of the resort and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and cozy. The bed was really comfy. It was clean. The sink is in the room, the shower and toilet are in a seperate room. It is 2 minutes away from the main square, whre two restaurants are and a supermarket which provides you with everything you need. The bus picks you up from the aiport and brings you back. There is also a shuttle in the resort, which is really convenient if you want to explore the area a little by yourself. It is the perfect spot to explore Uluru and its sorrounding. We would definitely stay there again.

Confortabile beds, excelent a/c (a must in the area), nice swimming pool.

No restaurant, although the central square is next door. Room service came in the very first morning early, I politely asked for later service and have never seen the guys since, despite hanging the room service plate on the door handle. Reception closes 5pm and if you lock yourself out you need to go to a different hotel for assistance. Which I did in swim suit only, as I came straight from the pool. Enjoy! :)
