It is a nice hotel but not more than this. I was tempted between 7 and 8 for this hotel and I put 8, because I saw that the director is taking seriously client's feedback and to improve the service. Eg he added coffee, tea and a mug daily in the room, and a different offer of breakfast. Staff is polite. I was offered a nice room upgrade as I stayed for 10 days.

- Hotel does not take credit card (it is not working for months and there is no excuse for a hotel that wants to have international clients) -General room design/decoration needs a refresh, decoration in the rooms seems old. -Wifi is bad and sometimes terrible or not present -There is no fitness room in the hotel, this is inaccurate in the description -Breakfast needs big improvement and more quality in almost every ingredient. Staff should stop stare at clients while they eat.

My stay here exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a single room for two nights for the purpose of visiting the nearby Delegation for National Security. I paid XAF 74,196 for the stay upon check-in, and credit card was accepted. The staff spoke excellent English and was quite helpful. The room was relatively spacious - including a sofa and TV - and very clean and included a fridge and water. The WiFi was relatively fast.

I had dinner in the hotel restaurant and found the food to be mediocre. The included breakfast was average at best.

The staff at the reception were very professional. The breakfast was decent. The cleanliness was good. Definitely good value for money

There is a bit of noise from passing cars on the road. The hotel has tried to minimise this though through double windows

Little delay on ordered meal.

The building is kind a old, but the rooms are spacious and seem to have been renovated. Bed sheets and towels very clean. AC and Wi-Fi worked really well. Nice breakfast. Ordered lunch and dinner once, it was also good. The staff is young, polite, and always helpful.

They give you just one towel (no hand or face towels). There are no mats in the bathroom and they don’t give floor towels. There is risk of slipping when getting out of the bathtub.

compared to other hotels in Yapundé, Yaahot is really good value for money since international standard hotels are quite expensive.

the breakfast was a a bit meager at the start, but in included in the price. Upon asking you can receive more as an omelette or likewise.

Friendly team. Great food for dinner.

Restaurant

The restaurant offers good fresh food although not much choice. Good bed, hotel is kept well cleaned. Staff is helpful and well trained. There is an ATM right near the hotel door, which is convenient.

rooms are quite small and not well arranged, wash room are narrow and one can't barely move once in. Breakfast is utmost ordinary. It is served after 7:15 and it take ages for the staff to bring all items on the buffet. The location isn't great there are not restaurants or shops in the area. The brewed coffee is horrible! even worse than the stuff sold in small doses under 'red cup'name.

The hotel was close to the city centre. The beds are pretty comfortable.

The rooms are outdated, especially the bathrooms weren’t in a good condition. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room and wasn’t very stable. the staff wasn’t friendly, more annoyed about dealing with guests. It wasn’t possible to get a second towel for a double room with 2 guests.
