To far to walk to the ice machine and washer and dryer area if your room was on the East side. Restaurant was closed permanently I guess. Breakfast was cereal and coffee, no places to eat in town but McDonald's. It's was apparently fishing season, came back from a scenic drive and a boat was in our parking spot. Owner or management should have told customer he couldn't take up two parking spots, to maybe park his boat in a different area like maybe on the Westside. Pillows were thin with plastic cover got to hot in the middle of the night

Not enough chairs outside by the room, the ppl next door kept taking it

Andy (Owner) and his wife were very professional and friendly. I was there to do the Cowboy Bike Trail. Was able to arrange parking while riding the trail a another room when returned. Excellent. Highly recommend!

The rooms were cleaner and bigger than most places I have stayed. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpfull. The bathrooms were well laid out and big!

The chest-of-drawers looked like they had seen better days.

No one on reception when we got there after 3 phone calls somebody turned up & checked us in huge room really clean and very comfy beds plenty of coffee and breakfast as well chairs and ashtrays outside of rooms for us smokers

I loved the staff. Erica was nice. She watched out for me. I was trying to get to Montana. Erica helped me navigate through the winter blizzard. She didn't want anything bad to happen to me. I thought that was sweet.

I loved everything about my stay there. Everything was perfect. I can't complain about anything. The best hotel I've stayed at in a very long time. And, I travels a lots.

Everything! We loved it the first time we stayed that we decided to stop there again on our way home. New owner is super attentive and the property although older is well maintained and very clean. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are nice! The on-site restaurant serves the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had and price for hotel and restaurant are very reasonable. location was perfect as well as it was right on Highway 20.

I have a large dog who travels with me, and she was readily welcomed by the staff. The room was very clean when we arrived, and we made every effort to keep it that way upon our departure. It was much easier than I thought it might be!

Not a criticism, but I did miss the restaurant due to it being the one day per week that it is closed. It sounds exceptional, and I'll definitely hope to catch it open next time!

The Raine is my favorite motel in Valentine. I stay there once a year to meet family from the other side of the state. The price is right, the motel is clean, comfy and the rooms are spacious. I love a good Ma and Pa's place and this is the place to be! This year was year 8 in a row! Will be back next year! New owners this year and they were great and accommodating!

Just absolutely excellent! The new owners are delightful, helpful, and very skillful with the management. They accommodated everything I needed for a long stay for work, and I will definitely go back. The place is cute and clean, even though it has a vintage look. The wifi could be a bit stronger, but it's workable. The highlight is the restaurant! The only foreign food within an hour's drive and some of the best north Indian food I have had, and I've had Indian food in at least 8 countries, including India!!!
