Hotel stop enroute to Denmark. We really liked that it had a playground and a pool to burn a bit of energy off for our daughter. It was a short turn off from the main roads but in a quiet location. It has a sauna and steam room plus a gym you can use, all included. Tennis courts are outside. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and for breakfast both times the meal was great and staff very friendly. Room was good with the sofa bed set up for my child. Room had lots of extra you don't see in modern hotels such as robes, slippers, sewing kit, flannels etc. They provided a free bottle of sparkling water too. If you're staying a bit longer there is a forest path from the hotel.

Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be a great addition and I thought the norm for German hotels. Drinks were a bit slow in the restaurant at dinner.

This place totally gives off “Kellerman’s Resort” vibes from Dirty Dancing. Classic accommodation style. We were upgraded to a spacious suite with a balcony right above the pool — a fantastic surprise. Perfect for families! There’s always something to do: tennis, ping pong, a playground, catching baby frogs on the nature trail, swimming in the pool, working out in the gym, relaxing in the spa or sun room, and even berry picking in season. The breakfast was delicious, and there’s plenty of parking. It was the perfect two-day break on our drive back north to Denmark. I really hope they’ll add a charging station for electric cars one day (right now you have to charge in the next town, which is a bit of a pain). Also, I wish parents with toddlers wouldn’t unleash them in the corridors at 7:30 a.m. to scream like banshees. Not the hotel’s fault, but still… it’s not exactly the wake-up call I had in mind.

Cozy, interesting hotel, with large comfortable room, all very well set it for a family of four with a baby. Very beautiful and quiet environment delicious food for the dinner in the restaurant and breakfast as well. Great amenities.

The furniture in the restaurant and around the hotel could be better clean. The room was clean, but the floor seemed to be a bit sticky. It seemed that they had clean, but maybe using too much product and not wash the way properly.

The restaurant seemingly had limited capacity, so when we arrived we were told that we could not have dinner in the restaurant. We would have appreciated to be warned about this upfront - then we would have made a booking. Having been driving with two little kids for over six hours straight, it was not ideal that we again had to drive in order to find a restaurant (about a quarter drive).

Very nice, recently renovated room. Quite large too, and with a large balcony. Quiet location, good for travelling with dogs. Fairly good breakfast selection.

The dinner menu is a bit odd with some pizza, some pasta, some game, etc - a bit of everything. Food quality was mostly ok to good, but the carpaccio was not very nice - soggy meat with a strange heap of mixed salad.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We were travelling with a dog who is not welcome in the restaurant, but the staff were very helpful and we were welcome to eat outside on the terass with our dog.

Friendly staff. The rooms were big enough and it was comfortable for us. Hotel had a good breakfast menu. Pool and Sauna were relaxing.

Hotel location is better accessed by Car. No Supermarket/Restaurants near by.

Spacious rooms, excellent food and friendly service from staff. The swimming pool was lovely.

There were no massages available (this was not indicated when we booked) and part of the reason we booked was to treat ourselves to spa treatments.

the beds were withered worn out or too soft in the middle so couldn’t sleep well and woke up with backache. this took vLue for money down.
