A very nice and clean room in a beautiful area of Tuscany. Breakfast was rich with local products. The kind hosts gave us useful tips and recommendations for restaurants and beautiful locations in the area. Highly recommended!

A great stop on our journey through Italy. Our hosts were eager to please and they did so very well. We found them to be accommodating and very friendly and exceptionally proud of the B n B they have created. Situated down a small country road, high on a hill,the panorama was magical overlooking tall mountains and a small monastery - great atmosphere. The house itself is huge and spacious and spotlessly clean and shiny. it was an easy walk up a broad staircase to our room which had a wrap around balcony so that we could take in the complete vista that was offered. The ceilings are high and once again there is an overall feeling of spaciousness. The room was well appointed and the bed very comfortable. Our private bathroom was not within our room but very near by and it was very lavish and beautifully appointed. The towels and bed linen were wonderful. We took a light meal of cheese and meats on the balcony in the evening- beautifully prepared and presented which we enjoyed whilst engaged in interesting conversation with our hosts. As we were only staying for one night we were not able to take advantage of everything the house had to offer, and there were so many components to experience. there are so many areas with seating and tables around the perimeter of the house where it is possible to sit and relax. Downstairs is a ‘tavern’ room where guest can choose beverages from behind the bar and this is based on an ‘honesty’ system. Sitting once again on the balcony enjoying the mountain breeze we ate a breakfast of cheese, meats, bread and home made jams, coffee and tea and some delicious home made Belgian chocolate cake. There were many other things to choose also. We wish Rox and Claudia all the very best in this exciting venture of theirs.

We loved Rox and Claudia! Very welcoming hosts. The house has incredible views and it’s very quiet. Perfect to relax for the weekend. The room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We can’t wait to go back!

Rox and Claudia have a beautiful house with breath taking views of the mountains. The room was very large, super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and we even got a tour of the small town afterward by both Rox and Claudia. We can not say enough good things about our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Rox and Claudia. If we are ever back in Italy, we will definitely make it a point to visit again. 5+ Star Stay!!!!

Beatiful house and beautiful view

Rox has a temper and I felt very uncomfortable… I DO NOT recommend this place. My husband and I stayed at B&B Rox e Claudia June 3-6, 2025. On the night of June 5, we got home from dinner and were extremely quiet. We didn’t talk, we tiptoed, and we ensured the door to the room was opened and closed quietly. We began getting ourselves ready for bed: I put on my pajamas and started washing my face and brushing my teeth. My husband wanted to take a quick shower so he put the water on. He noticed there was no water pressure. He whispered to me, “The shower isn’t working.” I took a look, it was true, there was no water pressure. The shower must have been on for 60 seconds at this point when we heard… *BANG BANG BANG* (three loud bangs on the door). My husband shut the shower and looked at me confused, at first not understanding it was a knock on our door. Then we hear it again. He walked up to the door and said, “Who is it?” and nothing was spoken back, only 3 more angry BANGs on the door. My husband repeated, “who is it?” and Rox just shouted, “OPEN UP!” My husband opened up the door and Rox started aggressively screaming “BASTA! FINITO!” [STOP! DONE!] to which my husband said “I…” - he didn’t get to finish that sentence because Rox repeated again (unnecessarily loudly) “BASTA! FINITO!” [STOP! DONE!]. And he begins pointed to the other guests doors and said something to the effect of *there are people here.* That’s when I said “we weren’t making noise though” and he finally gives us an explanation for his unwarranted aggression and said “ENOUGH SHOWERING!” We thought that was odd considering the shower had been on for just 60 seconds - too short of a time before he left his room, walked upstairs, came to our room and knocked on the door, which means it had to have been something else. The sink water perhaps? Were we not allowed to use the sink after a certain time? Nothing like this was told to us or in the listing.
