Nice apartment, beautiful view on a small piece of the jungle, cute little town, very nice hosts

The owners can not help it but it is a pity that there is an other quit high building in front of theirs. So the view on the river and therefor the jungle is blocked when you have 1 of the downstairsor 2nd floor apartments. It would be nice to have a bigger bin for trash which can be locked against the monkeys who come by looking for food or leftovers. It would be nice to have a few hooks in the bathroom. But overall there is nothing we didn't like

Thanks to Fadil for our perfect stay in Bukit Lawang. We enjoyed every moments. Fadil took care of everything, from our pickup in Medan to our orang-outans trek. We had the chance to do the trek with Ibo as a guide. Really nice guide who took the time to answer all our questions. On top of it, we even had the chance to observe orang-outan from our terrace at the guest house. We would recommend for sure!

It's always a pleasure to return to this lovely guesthouse. The hosts Fadill and Marie are so kind and helpful. Special thanks to the jungle guide Dino whose knowledge of the local ecosystem is amazing.

Good location near the river with good view of the hill and jungle. Our host was friendly and helpful. Good value.

The guesthouse was quite far away from the main road. We have to carry our bags quite far along the small lane to our Guesthouse in the hot sun. Hot water for shower was not available.

Great place and great owner who can help you with everything you need. We got some great jungle guides as he understood what we were looking for! Thx again

We always return to this lovely place with perfect location. This part of the village is peaceful eneught but still next to some nice restaurants. The French-Indonesian couple running Riverside GH are kind and friendly. All the necessary arrangements for transportation and trekking were easy to make. We will be back!

The owners were very welcoming. Anything we needed they were there to help. Organised everything we needed, (pick up from airport) Clean room, great location in the village. Nice views of jungle and river. Breakfast was delicious.

Riverside is our long time favorite because of the great location and the lovely family running the place.

Host was very accommodating to late check in and moved my bag to and from locker while I went trekking in the jungle.

After having slept one night in the jungle it felt like heaven to come to this place. Spacious room, hot water and a nice terrace.
