Friendly staff, liked the location and the pool room. The room was updated, clean with a good size fridge and microwave.

The air conditioning didn't seem to keep up despite opening the window and the door for a couple hours before going to bed when it had cooled considerably. Light switch at the door didn-t tirn on any interior light. No place to hang clothes/jkts, which could likely go above the dresser.

Although the Villager Inn is not far from the Crowsnest Highway, you couldn't hear any traffic. The freshly renovated room was very spacious. Check-in was unconventional and hassle-free. City Center with shops in a comfortable walking distance Also worth mentioning is the neighbouring pub, which offers good food at very reasonable prices.

The ceiling beams creak a little when someone walks on the upper floor. Would have liked a hairdryer

Very impressed with the rooms. The management has made the effort to fit out the rooms in a modern and tasteful way -- matte black fittings, modern furnishings, and a very comfortable firm bed with nice white sheets. This ain't your 90s motel.

There's a boil water advisory at the moment for the area so need to be cautious. There is a water cooler in reception, but it's locked late / early in the morning.

Outside our second story room was a small table with two chairs. It allowed us to enjoy our meals and drinks in the fresh air.

1. The door card was a little fidgety until I got the hand of it. 2. No instructions for the two remotes. The TV had a Roku stick iirc, but it didn't work the same way as our Chromecast at home. We had to resort to plugging in my phone to the TV via the HDMI input to watch stuff in the evening.

The rooms have been recently updated and are very modern as are the bathrooms. We got a great nights sleep here in the middle of summer , the AC was great!

This didn’t impact us too much but the website mentioned breakfast and a swimming pool . There was no breakfast and the swimming pool is under construction.

The front lobby staff was a bit intimidating. Wasn’t sure if he was the Host or a guest… by the way he presented.. but all good once we got checked in.

Lacking in lights, was a bit dark. No power on one side of the bed. Some smell of cigarettes, smoking was allowed on the balcony so hard to keep out of the room.

I've stayed 3 times now while passing through. Rooms are clean, and it's always quiet. Staff are friendly. Pub next door is good for a beer or 2.

Great place to stay, very friendly staff. With it being such a hot day, it was great to use the pool. The guest loungue pool table and darts was a nice touch. Much better than I expected, would definately stay again.

The room was very clean and the water heater and microwave were greatly appreciated. We also enjoyed the large bathtub and the hotwater which was instantly available.
