The room was nice and cosy. The breakfast was very good, with various dishes. The hotel has a generous parking lot and it was great, since I was travelling by car. The neighborhood is very nice. The room had a large balcony with mountain-view, and we enjoyed the evening after a tiring day. There is a great breakfast with various dishes for all diets.

One of the strangest check-in experiences... Nobody at the front desk, we found our key in an envelope with several papers to fill in. There is a board with instruction next to the desk, yet some of them are written in German (a language I don't speak). I asked for help to some German fellow tourists but even they couldn't understand what was one of those papers for and how to fill it in. Moreover, there is no site map, to find the room. I literally wandered for 20 minutes to find the room. The place is great but this is a major setback from my point of view.

It was our 2nd stay at this hotel as we love the area. It's a good hotel with spa facilities and plenty of parking. There was no reception staff when we checked in at 5pm but they did leave a friendly envelope with self-checkin instructions and a welcome message.

The bathroom sink and toilet are in separate areas, so you have to walk over to wash your hands. The pool can be a little cold and you could end up facing a camping or caravan park, depending on the room. However, you will still get a nice view of the hills. The lady working in the breakfast room looked a little miserable but the rest of the staff are very friendly.

Exceptional value for money for such a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Beautiful and spacious deluxe room with traditional chalet style balcony. Wonderful views of the hills. Free to use spa and swimming pool and an excellent breakfast. There were no staff around when we arrived or until the following morning which felt a bit strange but everything functioned well with an easy self check-in. Would definitely like to return.

This is an adorable traditional German hotel in a beautiful location. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The hotel has a very quiet relaxed atmosphere, especially in the evenings - when you might think you are the only guest. Stunning location in surrounding countryside.

The Bedroom decor is a bit outdated - but I liked it. There is no tea making facility in the bedrooms & the communal expresso machine is charged.

The place is great to reach from the highroad. Pool is super cute and a great relax after long day drive. Steam sauna is the cherry on the top. Bed was big and comfortable with nice linnen and fluffy towels.

I did'n like that there is no stuff in the evening hours. Findind the room and finding my check in documents was a challange. Would be nice if somebody would be available at the location.

Beautifully situated and we got a lovely 2 bedroom accommodation. Easy access, parking outside and a lovely balcony with views to die for! Breakfast was super and just to sit at the foot of this great mountains was a treat. A few minute drive to the small but lovely town of Ruhpolding with several restaurants and ice cream bars.

We were looking for a hotel not too far from the A8 where we could charge our electric car. This hotel has a Tesla destination charger, which means one charger works exclusively for Teslas and the other one for any electric car. Bonus: charging was free for guests of the hotel. Fabulous breakfast was included. Room came with balcony. The pool has a decent size for swimming laps. 29 degrees C water temperature. Really nice. Pool was already open at 7 o’clock in the morning (maybe even earlier??) when I went for the 2nd swim of our 1 night stay. There is a Finnish sauna and a Turkish one. Plenty of space there also to relax afterwards.

Not sure if the mattress was just hard or old. I could feel springs and did not sleep well, which is not uncommon for me, sadly. Also, I just had knee replacement surgery so it could have just been my problem

Our stay was very relaxed, we admired access to the pool and sauna. To be precise, pool and sauna were opened from 7.00 am. to 9.30 p.m., which was very, very comfortable. Our room was quite spacious and comfortably equipped. What we really liked were the breakfast- offer was quite impressive.

Not all reception services were available in the afternoon. When we arrived from skiing around 4 - 5 p.m., we would like to have a glass of beer, but the bar was opened from 7.30 p.m. When we came later for the breakfast, choice was limited, especially for the fruit.

Room was big, clean. Quite and lovely landscape. Swimming pool and spa was nice for a relaxing day.

No one in reception at any time. Breakfast could be improved. Swimming pool and spa opens only after 5pm.

Great stay! The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The location is perfect — close to many attractions and easy to get around. For those who love golf, there’s a course nearby. Would definitely recommend.
