Their beds are amazing; 14-inch mattress with soft linen and cozy duvet gave me the best sleep experience in my last 30+ years of business travel. Huge flat-screen LED HD TV with plethora of entertainment channels made it every better. Most importantly, the rooms are new and spotlessly clean and hygienic. I was told that bathrooms also get RO water, including the flushing!!! Given the pathetic quality of water in Kakinada at other hotels, this was a huge blessing as I could bathe without messing up my hair. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I have been staying in Svenska Design Hotel, Kakinada ever since the property opened a couple of years ago and must say that its by far the best hotel in Kakinada. Its the only 5-star hotel and very beautifully designed, especially keeping in mind their overseas clientele. Apart from the aesthetics, this is a property with a heart and soul. Service is exceptional. Team is young and always eager to please. Food is absolutely delightful. Prices are reasonable and unlike other 5-stars, they don't end up fleecing their captive resident guests. The best part of the hotel is their sun deck and the swimming pool with beautiful views of Kakinada port. Though its compact, but comfortable for some quick laps and then enjoy the beautiful sunshine that Kakinada offers year-round. They've recently also opened a spa and must say that the quality of masseurs is outstanding. They have a really good gym as well, along with a gaming centre that has a mix of electronic as well as board games apart from table tennis, foosball, air hockey, etc. Cannot ask for more!

Every meal I had was an experience in itself, with excellent presentation and rich flavours. They also offer a range of facilities to enhance your stay. Whether it's the well-equipped fitness centre, spa, rooftop infinity pool, or gaming zone, the hotel goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel pampered. The hotel is also well located, the first one when entering Kakinada from Vizag or Rajahmundary airports.

Everything was great

It's a beautiful hotel, by far the best in Kakinada. The rooms are modern and spacious with all the amenities expected in a 5-star hotel -- minibar, electronic safe, large screen TV, super-fast Internet, great rain shower in the bathroom and very comfortable bed. Was pleasantly surprised that apart from a swimming pool and fitness centre, they also have a gaming zone with electronic gaming options, foosball, table tennis, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a delightful experience. Food was also delicious and unlike typical 5-stars, it was very reasonably priced.

Nothing as everything was perfect

Svenska has come as a breath of fresh air to Kakinada, bringing 5-star luxury to the town with this delightful stylish hotel. It's not only aesthetically designed with a beautiful lobby and large rooms, but they have raised the bar on the service with young and enthusiastic team members. I'd like to especially appreciate the kitchen team for the delicious meals that I had during my stay, as well as the stewards who served with a smile. The team at the reception and the butlers serving in the rooms were equally good.

Everything was great

Excellent hotel located in a peaceful enclave within APIIC Industrial Park. Best part is that they give complimentary drop and return to the nearby SRMT Mall, which has loads of shopping, dining, and entertainment options and is an enjoyable place to visit over the weekend. They also have a very nice pool and spa on their top floor and I had a very relaxing massage. Rooms are beautiful and I believe each has a unique design. Bed is super comfy.

Breakfast starts at 7am; I am an early person and wish they could have it ready by 6:30am

Very spacious and brand new rooms with all the amenities expected in a 5-star luxury hotel. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Food is also good and reasonably priced. Loved the rooftop infinity pool and had a nice relaxing massage at their spa. Also enjoyed their gaming zone with many options for electronic gaming as well as table tennis, foosball and air hockey, all provided complimentary during the stay.
