The lady at reception is really friendly and helpful. They moved us to another front room because of others’ cancellation. The room was big and clean. We were very happy with everything in there. The motel is close to the hwy, so it’s easy to find. And it is not noisy at all. They offered the optional breakfast, we paid about 15AUD per person. It was decent size and saved us the time to find somewhere else. Considering the town is little, I personally didn’t expect the accommodation. Gayndah A Motel surprised me.
Nope. It was perfect for us.

The location, & general appearance were good with a pleasant outlook onto plants separating the unit from the fenced pool area. The food (hot breakfast) was really good and well priced. The bed was comfortable and in spite of a heat wave, the room with ac, was effective. The black out curtains were very effective. Staff were friendly.
There were no free GPO’s available to recharge phones and other electronics. We had to disconnect appliances to plug in our chargers. There wer no lights or extraction fans in the shower/ toilet/ washbasin area, and no place to hang a towel while showering. The cold tap was running continuously and couldn’t be turned off.

Ordered room service and it was great! Reasonably priced, tasted great! Everything was clean and welcoming. The owners/staff were so lovely and friendly. There is a pool. It's spread out all om ground level. Very large TV which we loved and excellent reception. Very clean and well presented. Booked out on our return trip and we were very disappointed. Nothing too hard for them. Little gem in Gayndah.
Personal preference for handheld shower now I'm older. All else fabulous.

This place is an absolute gem for a stopover. We booked last minute as we were travelling and didn't know in advance where we were stopping. We were met at reception by Edward who was lovely and offered us any help we needed with ordering meals. My daughter enjoyed the pool while I picked up some groceries for a light dinner. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable for us both. It was quiet and comfortable.
Nothing. They even had crockery and cutlery in the room even though you can't prepare meals there. It meant we could make our own salad and cold meat with ease which we washed with our detergent we were carrying and left out neatly for proper cleaning. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the town.

Great
Great motel, very clean & comfortable rooms. Friendly owners. Also a decent size pool. It is on the out skirts of town, but Gayndah is very small anyway. I like that the rooms are a good size. Good aircon as well.

This is my third time staying at the A Motel. The rooms are always clean and tidy, and the owners very accommodating and helpful in answering any questions I've had. I love the quietness of the area, and also that a nice coffee and delicious scones are available most days over the road at the Big Orange Cafe.
There's no microwave in the rooms :( Gayndah is a bit lean on for weekend takeaway options, so a microwave would be helpful.

Great location off the main road. Older style rooms with very comfy warm bed & a great shower with heaps of hot water, what we needed when staying on a cold (2°) winter's night
You could hear the next door unit's air conditioner motor unit going all night 🤨

Lovely quiet comfortable spacious unit with convenient touches such as microwave, cutlery, air con, tissues, hairdryer. Super friendly and helpful managers and short walk into town centre. Pool was refreshing after exploring the region on a hot day. Meal.option another added bonus.

Quite and very efficient staff. Meals and Breakfast very well priced and of a simple nature which is what we were looking for.
Lack of power points across the room. 4 space power board with the TV and needed to run power cords across the room for medical and electronics equipment . Luck we always carry extension cords. Some ants in the room, may be due to hot humid weather for the past few weeks.

Great location in a gorgeous little Qld country town on a lovely drive up staying away from the craziness if the coast road. Highly recommend for super comfortable and spacious room, superbly clean and loads of hot water which is vital in June.
No improvements to suggest.
