Breakfast was very good although a pinch point at 9,00 at weekends. The view is wonderful and the rooms large and well appointed

The food at dinner in the main restaurant was very average and could so easily be improved

The view from our rooms of the ocean was beautiful and made the stay extra special. The breakfast was phenomenal, truly fully inclusive like nothing we have experienced before. We felt very welcomed, comfortable and well-rested. Definitely would recommend!

The view was amazing. The ocean was inviting.The room was comfortable with a pool view, but I will choose the sea view if there is a next time. The staff was accommodating. Breakfast was superb.

The dinner at the two restaurants was not up to scratch considering limited other facilities. Day 1 the Bistro ran out of bread! Prawns were overcooked and delivered cold. The jacuzzi was not operational? My biggest gripe was the wifi voucher system for 1gig per person renewable but an inconvenience. The wifi reception was utterly useless!!! Limited activity after dark. Prefer an aircon instead of a fan in the room.

We liked everything. The hotel is superbly situated on the small bay, with amazing views. I don't think we have ever stayed at any hotel where the staff have been so polite and ready to help with anything, The food was sublime and very well priced. Service was impeccable. The breakfast is a real treat with a well stocked hot and cold buffet and a glass of champagne to get you going.

Most hotels have a sore spot that doesn't work but there were no glaringly obvious downsides. Bed was clean and firm and the bath was a good size with immediate hot water. Loved it.

I have ALWAYS loved staying at THE Arniston Spa Hotel. This was my partner's first visit,and he is COMPLETELY OBSESSED with the hotel 🤗 From the friendly welcome by the lovely ladies at reception, the cleaning staff, the bar, restaurant - EVERYONE - was so friendly and welcoming. We LOVED being so close to the ocean - and the De Mond nature reserve is within walking distance from the hotel. The Hotel is a hidden gem, with easy access to beautiful surrounding areas like Struisbaai. Bredasdorp and others Arniston itself is a hidden gem. The hotel's daily breakfast was an ABSOLUTE FEAST! The staff at the breakfast were always SUPER FRIENDLY! Our room was large and spacious and always FULLY stocked . We had a pool view - which was so beautiful ... and hopefully, next time, we'll be lucky to have a room with a sea-view 😊 The daily pool maintenance was ON POINT. Clean, fresh towels were ALWAYS readily available. My partner and I are SO THANKFUL to everyone who contributed to a memorable few days there. We are still reminiscing..... We were VERY SAD to leave..... but, we WILL DEFINITELY be back 🤗🤩

We have nothing really to complain about. The only thing that could perhaps be addressed is the noise levels of staff and guests after a certain time ... It became SO BAD one night, we had no option.but to lodge a complaint with reception . It was way past 10pm already .....

We loved our stay. Breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed by our whole family, and the room was perfect for a family.

The bed in our room was very uncomfortable. Both myself and husband sides were very hard and backs hurting when getting up in the morning. The guests at the bistro (non hotel guests) is making the stay not nice for hotel guests as they are taking over the pool section and especially loud at night. Also the swearing of some of them wasn’t pleasant as our children are not used to swearing. We came for a rest but the loudness and taking over of outside guests was not pleasant

i booked a table on the stoep for 10 for lunch/dinner- i invited my kids with their spouses as it was my one sons Birthday i phoned beforehand to confirm getting there, The Bar did not know about this booking and the girl on duty was very cheeky, but the booking was written in the book at reception??? we also phoned the morning to find out if my son can bring along his 2 very well behaved dogs, that was confirmed, getting there we were told that the dogs are not allowed and they will give us a table at the pool and not in front with a sea view as requested. i find the Communication is very poor and we spent over R 7000 on lunch and the service not good.

The rooms were fantastic - it was light, airy and lots of doors, verandas and windows. Nice and large, with a lounge area, ceiling fans were great in the summer. Bathroom was nice and big, bed and bedding lovely! The breakfast was just superb - keep it up! There was something to make everyone happy. The location of the hotel is fantastic - just beautiful views over the ocean. The manager came to check up on us over breakfast with some interesting facts and stories of the hotel. Will most certainly stay there again!

Just small things - when checking in, we were confused about where to park and get our luggage into the hotel. Perhaps they could have explained that we can park infront of the hotel, which would have made the whole process smoother and easier. There were a lot of noisy kids running around in the reception area - not their fault, and it's peak family season I guess. The dinner in the evening was ok, perhaps more could be done on the choices and standard of the food.

We booked a sea-facing room. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Every evening when we returned from dinner, the bed was made ready for the night (scatter cushions removed etc) and we received a little chocolate on each pillow. There was also a tray in the room with some Old Brown sherry and two glasses which was a nice gesture. The buffet breakfast was fantastic - a great selection to choose from. We had dinner the one night in the main dining room and the other night at the Bistro. Portions are big and the food very tasty. The staff in the hotel is very friendly and we will definitely return to this hotel.

They only give you 1gig of internet per device for every 4 days which is little. The TV channels are not the best selection (it included sabc channels) - I know you don't go away to watch tv but the first day we arrived it was raining the whole day and we couldn't even stream a movie on our device because of the limited internet. I feel for a 4 star hotel the internet should be uncapped - we stayed in 3 star hotels before and all of them offered uncapped internet.

Amazing location, huge room, stunning views, good breakfast. The turndown service was a great touch.

The food at the Bistro was over priced and not good. My steak was very overcooked and my son's burger pattie was hard and cold. I couldn't find our waitress to send it back. The restaurant staff seemed extremely busy with a group who were there for a conference so we were ignored mostly. That's my only criticism. The rest of the stay was lovely.
