Excellent view from one of our rooms of the river, great breakfast with mekitsi and homemade apricot jam, wide selection of fresh foods for breakfast, location of hotel and proximity of park

We had two rooms: room facing the empty pool area had a water leak from the air conditioning and no view of the river. The other room had a fantastic view and was very large. Price per capsule of coffee is extremely overpriced - should be complimentary. I had sent two messages via booking and e-mail to the property prior to the stay to try to change my credit card number to a different one, but no one responded. The rooms could use some remodeling and additional maintenance. If this is done, it will definitely be a top hotel in Silistra. The bathrooms could use some upgrades (shower curtain or doors around the tub/shower area is recommended.

My go to hotel in Silistra. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quite. The hotel is reasonably priced. The location is excellent right next to the city garden. There's also a big parking lot for guests which is free.

The food in the restaurant needs improvement. The menu is a bit pretentious but not very tasty. I'd say a simple menu with local fresh produce would be best. To be fair, the first night the food was not very good, but the second was. So I guess it depends on the shift.

The owner of the hotel welcomed us and was extremely professional and polite. The interior inside the lobby has quite the aristocratic vibe and looks sophisticated but not in the negative spectrum. The room was spacious, large bed, view of the river. The location of the hotel is super good, close to the river and the garden - nature surrounding it. Overall clean hotel and room, very quiet as well.

The breakfast can be improved as it is a 5-star hotel and it should have greater variety of choices. The pillows are a bit empty and not very comfortable, but that could be a personal choice.

Good location, near a nice park. Room is quiet and perfectly clean. Bed is comfortable. The view on Danube river was really nice. Parking was easy (even if there is no guaranty to have a parking spot). Restaurant is good too.

Room was too hot. I could not have cold air with air conditionning. I had to sleep with air conditionning off and window opened.

Phenomenal entree, super friendly waiter for the evening dinner, wine was excellent for just 20 EUR, food excellent

Smells the "superiority of real socialism" - swimming pool is huge but hasn't been in use for years. Hotel manager expands his chaotic office into the lobby, ...

The Drustar Hotel lies next to the Danube and the river park, so locationwise it is perfect. We had booked a large apprtement and we were not disappointed as it was huge, consisting of two rooms (each with a TV-set), bathroom and extra separate toilet, plus a luggage room with lots of space for cloths etc. The breakfast room was on the small side, but the buffet was excellent. Silistra is a nice provincial town to spend a few days (or a long weekend, as we did).

The staff could have been more friendly. They did their job but an occasional smile would have been nice.

The had a free room upgrade. The bed was comfortable. A lot of parking places. Breakfast was good, with some typical Bulgarian dishes.

Bring earplugs if you a light sleeper. Just as a recommendation - put some black out curtains.

We got an actual wooden baby cot, and we really enjoyed the view of the river from our balcony even though our room was not located directly on the river side. Great value for money.

Very nice hotel. Not five stars, but very nice. Fine location by the Danube, big rooms, decent breakfast. The place is quiet, we had a good sleep. We enjoyed our staying and would return anytime. Thank you, Drustar!

The suite was really wonderful, the space in all the rooms was perfect. The decor in the hotel was really tasteful and really enhanced the whole experience of our stay. The balcony views were amazing. The restaurant for dinner was excellent.

The beautiful bath and shower were not practical to use properly. The lack of shower curtain/screen made it impossible to keep the area outside the bath from becoming dangerously wet and slippery. The power of the water coming out of the bath taps was not practical to even half fill the huge bath. The room where breakfast was served was slightly cramped as it was quite small with a lot of tables fitted in.
