This was a lovely hotel beside a beautiful lake. Free parking was provided over the road. The room was well appointed overall and the food was wonderful.

When the lights were turned off at night, there was no electricity so devices did not charge overnight. This was explained in the visitor information but I did not read that before going to bed. Service at the reception desk in the morning at checkout was very slow. I also became stuck in the lift and could not raise anyone.

Really lovely stay. The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Really nice walking trails nearby and so happy I could bring my dog.

It was nearly 30 degrees and the room didnt have any AC or fan so it did get very warm.

Location - too far from town - fine in the summer but not in the winter when too cold to walk. I the winter you really need transport.

The room was excellent. The Staff were great and very helpful. The food was outstanding, we had an evening meal and the breakfast. The choice at breakfast was the best I have every been offered at a hotel.

I keep coming back, it is a perfect place to let go and feel supercomfortable. The concept is impeccable!

Great location with a lush garden down the the peaceful lake. rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. night receptionist was a dream but morning receptionist was a bit short and cold.

They advertise the spa but i think it’s a separate company that is just connected by a door. Waited around in the morning to get a massage, the receptionist only had a rough time that one of the spa staff would arrive and when they finally did, it was fully booked all day.

Room and services good. A bit isolated but that’s the charm. There is a restaurant next door. Exceptional breakfast. Flower garden 40 minute walk. Ferry stop to Oldenburg right at hotel.

My wife booked last minute for me and everything was great, until checkout. My wife had already prepaid the night and as I checked with the receptionist I was told the night hadn’t been paid for. Ok - maybe I had it wrong, I paid the full amount due. As my wife reconfirmed that she had already paid I went back to the receptionist to resolve the situation. Unfortunately the receptionist, didn’t have a word of apology, in fact quite rudely rechecked the paperwork and handed me money. - Makes me wonder weather this was intentionally?

- the slow elevator - payment for dinner was not possible at check-out
