Quiet and tidy compared with the city of Qufu. It’s like a retreat and oasis for relaxing and recharging after visiting the crowded and noisy city and the temple. The staff is extremely friendly, kind and patient, given the case that many guests were rude and demanding (in our observation). The hotel offers a lot activities especially the traditional Chinese clothes dress-up. The staff in Hanfu Guan (汉服馆/六艺轩) is helpful,friendly and patient. We really had a good time trying out some Chinese traditional clothes.

Their in-house restaurant is too pricey comparing the value that you get (overall experience).

Lovely garden。Extremely helpful staff. Near enough to attractions。 Recommend the Opening Ceremony at the Confucius Temple at 8am！ Great hotel.

Everything (location, good personalised service at the breakfast restaurant, good setup and design of the room, clean rooms)

The only setback is the hotel didn’t inform the guests early before arrival to bring swimming caps for the use of the pool.

The hotel is located about a 20 min drive from the Qufu East Train Station and about a 20 min walk to the Confucius Temple. Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way helping us, also trying to call the Confucius Temple Ticket office for us. English very well spoken. Great selection at the breakfast buffet. The whole family was happy.

A beautiful, comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Friendly staff and fabulous food makes this hotel one of my favorite stays.

The hotel is very good, with beautiful spa facilities and restaurant dining. The staff make the stay excellent. They are always smiling, helpful and diligent. Together they create a friendly and generous atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A wonderful stay over Easter / Qingming. The staff are superb, in particular the restaurant staff & concierge really went above & beyond to give us a friendly welcome with a toddler in tow and jump in to help at any moment. The room was very comfortable & well-appointed, the breakfast was great and the buffet dinner is an excellent deal (with roast duck, noodles to order, a Western carvery, sashimi etc). The hotel design is stylish with lovely gardens and it's an easy stroll through the city walls into the old town where Kong Miao and Kong Fu are.

The Horizon Club is closed at present and the alternative provision is happy hour in the lobby bar, which is fine but a shame not to have the use of the gorgeous club on 17F. A few leaflets and a map about the main attractions would have been very helpful. Or to ensure reception staff know all the practical tourist information like where to buy tickets, the best gates to enter from etc. But the staff were so friendly.
