Our stay at Villa Pomme d'Or was simply magical, and it felt like a home away from home! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the incredible Abdo and his wonderful team. They greeted us with traditional Moroccan tea, dates, and warm smiles that made us feel like family from the start. We had initially booked a standard room, but to our surprise and delight, they upgraded us to a larger room at no extra cost, understanding that we were a family traveling with two babies. This generous gesture made all the difference and showed their genuine care for their guests. The villa itself is a hidden gem in Midelt — beautifully designed, clean, and filled with charm. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, blending the elegance of Moroccan traditions with modern comfort. It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the stunning landscapes of the region. The hospitality here is unmatched. Abdo and the staff went above and beyond to make sure every moment of our stay was perfect. They anticipated our needs before we even asked, and their kindness touched our hearts. The food was another highlight: fresh, flavorful, and prepared with love. Every meal felt like a celebration of Moroccan culture. We liked everything

We stopped in Midelt for one night to break up the journey to Merzouga and stayed at Villa Pomme d’Or. Even though it’s not the typical riad, we had a really lovely experience. All the staff members were incredibly kind and attentive to every need. I’m celiac, and they made sure I had excellent gluten-free options for both breakfast and dinner. The villa itself has a unique style, but it’s very charming. We spent the afternoon by the pool and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner on their beautiful terrace. Our room was cozy and the bed was super comfortable! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stopover between Fès and Merzouga. Midelt itself doesn’t have much to see, but thanks to the warm hospitality at the villa, it’s definitely worth stopping here!

It was a great stop to have in our journey from Merzouga to Fes. Our host, a very well dressed gentleman, was very friendly and did his upmost best to serve us. Although they didn't have a lot of glutenfree options during breakfast, he went out of his way to buy some glutenfree items at the store. The room was large with a fridge and the beds were very comfortable. Although it's a villa, some maintenance was overdue or not done properly. Some lamps had different lights and there were sealings that could use replacing for example. Having a proper pool was really nice. Our car also got a free carwash which was a very nice touch!

There is some overdue maintenance. The pool could do with a bit more skimming of the surface as the design of the pool doesn't get cleaned or filtered if the pool isn't getting used.

This was a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the dining room had a wonderful open fire in the evening (we were there in March), we were warmly welcomed with tea and various nuts, there was 24- hour security (hire car parked outside) TV in room had a wide range of programmes including a large number of German TV stations (the only place we had this in Morocco), tea and coffee making facilities in room. A lovely pool but it was too cold for us to use when we were there. Beautiful garden. Evening meal provided was excellent, as was the breakfast and all the people working there. Wonderful place, best we stayed in.

Beautiful place to stay with wonderful gardens. My room had a small balcony overlooking the gardens which I really appreciated. The owner is so incredibly helpful and offers exceptional food and a very friendly service. Making my stay so comfortable and happy. The bedroom was warm and comfortable with facilities that made me feel very welcome. Location is great, central, but in a quiet street. Everything is in walking distance and everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future, Thank you so much for making my stay so happy.

Nothing, it was fabulous

We had a great quick stop at Villa Pomme d’Or thanks to Sami! We arrived later in the evening and Sami was quick to help us check-in, organize dinner, and provide suggestions for the rest of our desert roadtrip. We slept very well - some of the softest beds and bedding we’ve come across on our trip through Morocco. In the morning, we were touched to find that our rental car had been washed by another member of the hotel staff - such a generous gesture! We would happily stay again at Villa Pomme d’Or.

Parking is on the street outside of the building. There are cameras pointed at the parked cars and it seems like they’re watched during the night. No problems whatsoever but I had anticipated parking to be inside of the villa.

Excellent rooms which are very comfy and beautiful. the whole House is impressive and an old building. the Garden is beautiful and you have a great atmosphere inside and outside the building. at the beginning we got delicious almonds, peanuts and dates. the staff is very friendly. especially the waiter in their Restaurant is amazing. he served us with delicious dinner in an amazing room with real fire and nice music. he was very helpful and gentle. Also the Breakfast was amazing! we had Berber Nutella (Almond with argsn oil), fresh Olive oil, Pommegranate, fresh orange Juice, fruits, ... it was also in this nice living room. we can highly recommend going there and enjoy the Dinner and Breakfast. the bed was very comforable

The room was great as it had a separate sitting area, and the bed was plush and very comfortable. The air conditioners were working perfectly and came very handy in a very cold night we spent there. The staff was impeccable; friendly, hospitable, willing to go the extra step to make us feel welcomed. The dinner and breakfast there were superb; probably the best we've had this trip. Highly recommend it.

Can't think of anything I didn't like about the place. However, the town isn't anything special and the highest rated restaurant there where we had lunch is very mediocre.

A warm welcome greeted us, despite being hot and dusty travellers on our motorbike.. The atmosphere of the Villa and gardens was one of calm opulence, our room was spacious and comfortable and we were soon refreshed after a dip in the swimming pool and an air drying beside it. Our evening meal was excellent and breakfast an extensive delight. The staff were engaging and kind, and like other travellers we were delighted to find a washed and cleaned bike in the morning in it's secure parking spot.. we would happily return and recommend.

Very beautiful hotel, very romantic. We highly recommend this hotel! The courtyard inside the hotel is beautiful and there are two cute cats. Although the room is a little old, it has been cleaned well. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast was really delicious, also the juice and fried eggs was the best I have ever had in Morocco, and it had a ritual feel with beautiful music. Besides，Sami very kindly, with excellent service and greetings. You can also find Sami chat, he will be very sincere to give you local advice. Thank you. It's a beautiful place. Looking forward to stay here next time.
