Right on the water front, the staff were friendly and helpful. really short walk from the supermarket. nice drinks for the beach bar, Marco who was in charge of the private beach area was lovely. welcoming and helpful.

Marked down due to not being allowed to take food from anywhere else onto the beach, when only small limited options for food throughout the day. Charging €3 for beach towels is a little cheeky. it’s just a towel for the beach.

We had a fun week! Although the room is a little small and the furniture (in the room) has already seen better days, but it really doesn't change the overall picture, the room is overall pleasant, very clean, and well-equipped, the air conditioner is quiet, the internet is also very fast (also on the beach), the balcony “dominates” on the line the beach. The private beach adjacent to the hotel is amazing and clean. Excellent breakfast, the selection is delicious and fresh. (and a perfect cappuccino). The staff is extremely sympathetic and does everything to make you feel good. The price was also definitely reasonable. We will miss this vacation! Definitely see you again!

Likely the best location on the Montesilvano lungomare. Southern views from the balcony of the entire coast and Adriatic sea. Breakfast was excellent from a sea view restaurant and included a fresh egg station, sliced meats, fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh crostata, fruits and cakes. The staff were very kind and helpful. Plenty of close, free parking in the area.

There are a few things like not enough lighting in the rooms and the mattresses could use a bit of a refresh. But the positives definitely outweigh the negatives and we'd highly recommend this hotel.

I used the swimming pool a lot. It was end of season so I often had it to myself, which was great. Occasionally shared with just a few others, which was OK too. My room had a great balcony with sea view. The air conditioning worked. However, if the key card was removed from the slot or the balcony door was open it switched off. Very sensible, but it confused me at first! Breakfast at the hotel was included for me and it was pretty good. I like bacon and eggs and English Breakfast Tea, I was well served with those options! I had one evening meal at the hotel, which was nice enough. Usually I ate out. There was a nice pizza (and arrosticini) place across the road, and a Gelateria too. There was a shopping Mall nearby with steak house, and supermarket. The local number 2/ bus stop was close by, it was a 30 minute ride to and from Pescara. There was a very long promenade, stretching for miles. Lots of people doing their morning exercise before it got too warm.

The room was a bit small. It was OK for me as a single person but a couple on a long stay might find it a bit cramped. Pack accordingly! 🙂 No kettle in the room, I got used to it after a while. Last bus back from Pescara was at 21:30.

great location , right on the beach , clean and tidy all the time , breakfast had lots of choice , staff very friendly and helpful , you get you own sun loungers and parasol . and everyone is well spaced out , so plenty of space , ( unlike some other hotels) Marco the lifeguard sorts everything out , and ensures the beach is spotless. we were very lucky to get a dual aspect balcony with views of the mountains , and the beach, the sea was enjoyably warm (end of july, early august) This is an Italian hotel in an Italian resort , a first for us .

Perfect location free sunbeds, perfect for a family with kids ,parking -book it in advence limited places,close to restaurants ,markets , the breakfast was generous and fresh had also local pastry, excellent coffee 😬 overall we had an excellent stay at Sea Lion .

The restaurant for dinner needs more work .

Very friendly and accomodating staff. Lovely view from our room. Air conditioning worked well. Daily room service. Breakfast included in our stay, great selection of foods, always fresh. Each room has its own sun chairs and umbrella set up on beach. Building and outdoor areas always well presented and clean. Lift in building.

Shower a little small.

My daughter and I have been here for the previous 2summers and this is the 3rd year we have visited here.we have tried other hotels in the area but the sea lion is the cleanest and more efficient hotel. We love the beach and how clean the sand is and marco the lifeguard is great.also the pool is lovely,my daughter hates wearing a swim cap but for 20/30 mins she does it.the facilities are all clean and tidy.the toilets at the beach are cleaned constantly which makes a difference. Our room wa screamed daily,comfy bed,air con is a plus amd shower was fab. Breakfast was brilliant!!!staff friendly and welcoming.

Only thing that needs to be better is the kids club.my daughter goes every year and gets easily bored.morning session is just playing in sand and afternoon is colouring in then a swim in pool.if there was more for the kids to do at kids club like football/water fun/play area it would be great.

Large spacious room, with a side view of the beach, big bed for a couple, very good curtain to protect you from the sun in the morning, delicious and unique breakfast. good quality of WiFi

If contact with the Hotel had been better, i.e. they had contacted themselves via Whatsapp instead of booking, at first it seemed suspicious to me and I wasn't sure if it was the Hotel, especially since I have this application on a daily basis, but I don't use this communicator. Plus, when I asked a detailed question, I got a very general answer regarding all guests, not specifically my situation

Late check in was nat a problem ( around midnight) . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was perfectly cleaned, including swimming pool and outside the hotel in general.

Lack of buffet for dinner 😞 last year that was amazing experience - tasting various dishes, vegetables, meat etc cooked in many different ways.
