We arrived January 23rd, the gentleman who checked us in was very accommodating, we wanted a room on the first floor. He was very nice and funny and checked in on us. We really enjoyed our stay. And everything was very clean and tidy.

We wish there was a hot tub but that was okay. Also both our room keys did not work in the morning when we left and came back to our room. But that was no problem either they fixed it right away.

Very quiet, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a very clean suite and were very comfortable. The breakfast was better quality than most and the dining room restocking lady did a terrific job.

The mattress on the bed was too hard for me. This was my only complaint. Wasn’t terrible, but could have been better.

Nice hotel with a friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was okay with enough options to satisfy. For Newport the hotel is great. We enjoy the front desk staff, very friendly and offered lots of local suggestions.

A/c was weak and could get warm in the room.

The staff was very rude especially the Friday night staff when we checked in treated me like I should have known where everything was and I should not have asked her ANY questions. There was only 2 staff members our entire stay that was nice to us and I hate that I didn’t get one if the young ladies name. She was a housekeeper on the 3rd floor Saturday morning she was very nice and polite and Caleb at the desk Saturday evening was very nice as well

Everything was very clean. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. We love that there was a laundry facility on site for guests to use... and the washer and dryer were nice and did a great job for us. Our room was near the pool and there were a lot of kids in it, but we couldn't hear them at all.

The gal at the front desk wasn't very friendly. She mentioned that breakfast would be available in the lounge, but didn't bother to tell us where that was and it didn't seem obvious. We just felt like we were interrupting something when we asked questions. The room could've used a ceiling fan for a little better distribution of the heat. It was cold right beside the heater, but hot near the other bed.

We were traveling from Texas to Iowa for a business trip. We had several of our workers, material and tools with us when it happened and our truck didn't make it to the hotel so we had to make several trips in our SUV to get all of our stuff to the hotel. The staff was so helpful and extremely kind to loan us their conference room to store our ladders and tools while we were there. We also had kids with us(because we were going to Iowa for a month-long project) and the staff was kind enough to let us help ourselves to some milk and cereals we needed for the kids after hours. I wasn't familiar with this hotel chain before but since we travel all over the US I will definitely be checking out more of their other locations. By the way the room accommodations were fantastic and the breakfast in the morning made everyone in our team very happy. The kids were happy they at least got to enjoy the pool after everything our kids and our team had gone through.

There's not a single bad thing I can say about this place.

We tried to order food at the lounge to keep from having to leave Was going to order wings and nachos Was told it was going to be a few hours

Our experience was great! Very well kept hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. No complaints.

Comfort and value

The options for dining is limited in the town of Newport. Do not stay here if you are looking for a good sit down restaurant.
