The suites are perfect for a couple with romantic getaway, and they look way better in person than in pictures. They're in the best possible location close to the lake, the supermarket, and most restaurants. Very modern and minimalistic, yet has everything you need. The food in the restaurant was also decent, and the breakfast at 7e/person/day was a bargain with the buffet suitable for vegans, too. Extra points for being able to wake up with reindeer literally chilling at your terrace! 100% would stay here again.

Nothing I didn't particularly like but two small improvements the suites could have: a bathroom mat so your feet won't get wet when you use the toilet after a shower, and wider curtains to better block the midnight sun.

It was an absolutely stunning place to relax and take in the beauty of nature. The cabins are cozy, the views of the surrounding wilderness, and the staff is warm and welcoming. It’s the perfect getaway for anyone wanting peace and quiet in an incredible setting. Also if you are lucky a reindeer could visit you in front of the door.

The only small downside was the mosquitos, but that’s to be expected in such a natural area with summer season in Sweden. So bring a protective cream for your skin instead of spray to stay eco-friendly. Overall, a fantastic experience!

- Arriving at the accommodation was very interesting. At first, I received a lot of messages telling me to check in online and not wait at the reception. It was good that I didn't do that. At the reception, I learned that my reservation had been changed without my knowledge, that instead of one large cabin (for 8 people), I had 2 smaller cabins. One employee arbitrarily changed it. The receptionist who was at the reception when I arrived was not interested at first, she only started to solve the problem after I strongly objected to her approach. In the end, we resolved everything with the other receptionist Adela and their manager Tuomo, for which we owe them a big thank you. - too many annoying messages and emails that the resort sends automatically before arrival and after departure

This hotel is in a perfect location on the Finland-Norway border to witness the Northern Lights, and we were lucky enough to see them during our stay! The remote setting, surrounded by stunning snow-covered wilderness, made the experience even more magical. To make it even better, we also got to enjoy the New Year fireworks, which added a festive touch to our unforgettable trip. The staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our room was cozy and warm, perfect for relaxing after a night of aurora hunting. The restaurant was fantastic, serving delicious food that made our stay even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a comfortable, scenic stay with a great chance to see the Northern Lights and celebrate the New Year in a magical setting, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

We have been there in late January 2025 and despite the freezing temperatures outside, the suite felt very cosy and intimate, even if it has big windows with beautiful winter view. Also it has everything you need, with the little kitchen impressively fully equipped. It was spotless clean everywhere, parking space in front of the place, wi-fi was great. For Aurora hunters it's a perfect place, you can walk outside and see it from the frozen lake nearby. We enjoyed our stay there and we'll definitely come back.

Everything was perfect.

I was in Kilpisjarvi for 3 days to x- country ski but my arrival coincided with a big storm so I spent a lot of time snowbound in my cabin. This was quite a pleasant experience as it was well equiped and you could watch satellite TV from all around the world. The central complex had a nice restaurant and the nearby Haltinmaa did a great value buffet. The Arctic Express bus from Tromso to Rovaniemi stops 100 metres away. I hope to return one day and actually be able to ski !

Small and tidy cottage close to the store and gas station in Kilpisjärvi. The ”mountain view” was greatly covered by trees but you could see parts of Saanatunturi behind it. Very fast WiFi. We had a pleasant stay.

The curtains didn’t cover the full windows, making it very difficult to sleep during the midnight sun. At least make the curtains fit the windows, and preferably use double curtains to make it dark enough.

High and spacy room with pleasant wooden surfaces. Beds were sturdy and gave variety of softness. Clean. Helpful staff. Close to hiking paths.

This is one of four apartments in the building. The sounds from the neighbours and doors will be heard (silence after 10 PM). Missing some kitchen amenities, which we got when requested. The sleeping room upstairs was hot even when cool outside.

Great location, lovely cabin, peaceful, beautiful views. Friendly locals. Loved the sauna. We definitely got the feeling we were here very out of season (end October), which we didn't mind, as we were there for the hiking. 'Breakfast basket', was easily enough for a packed lunch too.

Asking if we could have breakfast at 5pm (deadline was 6pm) on the evening we arrived, our host seemed somewhat reluctant, but they did deliver the 'breakfast basket'. It's a shame that the temperature can't be controlled at the cabin because it was hot at night, especially in the mezzanine sleeping area. None of this affected our stay that much, which was lovely.

The "iglu" cabin was one of the most amazing spots our family has ever stayed!! The three of these units opened in 2022, and they are designed and outfitted with great amenities. Everything down to the suana, dishes and sound system was high quality. The glass dome over the upstairs bedroom was perfect for keeping an eye on the heavens...Even had heated glass to keep the snow off!

Only wish we could have turned down some of the nearby lights...but it was not bad. We could raise shades from the bottom of the dome glass to block most of the lights on the ground while keeping our view of the stars and northern lights!
