The food and drinks on site were very good and reasonably price, we didn't need to go elsewhere. The staff were generous with their time, answering all our questions and helping to arrange a tour of the island and transport back to the port. Staff honesty: I left my belongings including my (not-so-cheap) sunglasses on the beach to go swimming and then completely forgot about them..until a staff member called around to our hut to return them. The property is located right next to a long sandy beach, perfect for swimming, looking for shells, or just strolling along!

On arrival the router, for our hut was not working. Sometimes we were just about able to pick up a signal from the other rooms...but WiFi around the restaurant area is excellent.

I really liked the hut-style accommodation. It was stone’s throw away from the beach, with a good amount of beach loungers under the sun and shade. The food they offer is also delicious.

It might have been just from my room, but the shower head was quite broken. The bathroom sink’s faucet had almost zero water coming out which was a bit inconvenient. The bed and pillows were also quite thin.

Best value for money, great food and the staff were all amazing. Everyone treated us like family.

There was a time when water supply was interrupted in the early hours of the morning (dawn). Other than that, all else provided a great experience

It was quiet and clean. Staff very friendly even rode a bikes to the local store to get my pregnant girlfriend something. Far enough out of town not alot of people on beach area but close enough to walk or a very cheap trike ride. They also organized for scooter rental and transport to the port. Also the prices at the on site resturant are good

The water pressure in the CR had to fill a big bucket to flush the toilet. Not the end of the world but inconvienant and the shower pressure wasn't good for rinsing off but worked fine(hot water heater as well big plus even though it was hot and we didn't use it)

SF Cantina is a real local gem on Sugar Beach. I really enjoyed my stay here. The few cottages are self contained with direct access onto the amazing beach. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Food is really delicious. I would definitley recommend a stay here for a quieter more local experience. I will be back again!

Everything was great during my stay

✔️ I like the room its very clean. They have tv and aircon👌.. ✔️ Bathroom is complete. They have shampoo, soap and tissue 🧴 🧼 ✔️ The location is easy to access from the port. And the resort is not crowded so its good for relaxation💆. ✔️ And also i super like the breakfast 🤤. (No worries with the staff 'coz they are very accommodating)

✖️ the only thing that i dont like is the smell and fly😬. We try to go to other spot if we can smell something but the smell in the other side is good. (I hope they can improve that👌)..

the food!!!! i can never regret we did not have to eat outside the property unless it was after business hours…. the food is very very delicious and satisfying, good value for your money! the staffs are all so friendly and accommodating too…

the water maybe because it takes time for the faucet and shower to run water…

Internet connection is superfast even inside the rooms. I had peace of mind working remotely knowing internet won’t fail. Away from the center but not too far. Easy 10-min walk. There is a good restaurant nearby selling good pad thai. You can dry your clothes in the balcony. 🙂 Super accomodating staff!

Nothing really. Although if they added bacon as breakfast option it would be perfect.

Legit beach front. The hotel's location is just a 5 minute tricycle ride from the port. And 5 minute walk to poblacion where you can dine and buy pasalubong. The room is clean. The breakfast is good. It will fuel you to your day's adventure.

They forgot to fix the light inside the toilet and give the WiFi password.

They are so hospitable. we arrived so late but still we able to check in to our room. and the food is so superb. :) If u have a chance to go back at bantayan island i will still choose here to stay :)
