Remembering that this is Gite and not an Hotel, the facilities could not better. The room was clean and comfortable and excellent value and the meals provided were superb for the price paid. The staff were exceptionally helpful.

Nothing - always provided that you understand that you are not staying in an Hotel, but in a Gite. It was little surprising that even the brand new part of the accommodation was quite unsuitable for disabled visitors. None of the accommodation was suitable for those physically less able. It would have been great to have seating on the lovely balcony.

We visited on a Saturday night when the place was very busy. The (limited number of) staff made a brilliant effort of serving 50+ people a set but very good 5 course meal smoothly and without delays. Lovely views from the terrace. Comfy bed

When does rustic and characterful become basic and a bit tatty? A matter of personal opinion of course but we felt our room was more the latter - and we don't stay in posh hotels. The road is challenging if approaching from the North - from the South is easier.

We liked the Hotel, however the place is not a typical hotel: instead it is rather a mixture between a mountain cabin and a Hotel - meant in a positive way: everything is rather small and familiar. The place offers very nice and comfortable common places, where people gather, read and drink a tea. This makes the hotel somehow unique.

Rooms and aisles are very small, the bathroom is basic.

Amazing location in the wilderness. Still reachable by car. Great dinner and breakfast, nice view, place with real unique atmosphere. Would like to stay longer to fully explore the surroundings.

Breakfast was good. Nice view.

We were greeted by the laundry guy (no reception) who could not find our reservation, but proceeded to show us our room. The room was a dark hole with a tiny window facing the parking lot and a ceiling that was so low I couldn't stand fully erect.... a far cry from the bright room with the ability to stand, and a balcony, as pictured on Booking.com. We were told the rooms with a balcony were no longer available. The room was prepaid, there was no management around, and we were tired, so we accepted the room as a place to rest. Upon attempt to recover some travel funds for this huge disappointment (would have accepted 10% off), I was told too bad, we are cheaper than nearby St. Veran, and not every room can have a balcony. 1- False advertising as above. 2- Poor reception. Poor management. 3- Poor room. Dark with low ceiling. 4- Dated linens which smelled bad when wet. 5- Loose deck boards on the terrace, tripping hazzard. 6- Dirty cushions on the terrace, most of which smelled like stale smoke. 7- Dirty ashtrays on the terrace, half full. 8- No attempt to apologize for our experience. Was just told "that's the way it is."
