One of the best places in Kalimpong which offers amazing hospitality, beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga and absolute serenity. Our stay was made even with comfortable by the staff members there. Everyone is very welcoming and warm and helped us achieve the utmost comfort. Special mentions to Pritika, Bhumi, Shubhankar, Rupak, Raju, Suraj, Soumyadeep, Imran and Sukriti who made sure that we had a smile on our faces with the service they provided us with. I would definitely recommend everyone to have a stay here. We celebrated New Year’s Eve there and had one the best times. Everything was very well organised. Loved our time at the hotel. Perfect family gate-away location. 10/10 recommended.

recently stayed at Fortune Resort Kalimpong and had a truly memorable experience. The location is absolutely breathtaking—nestled in the hills with stunning panoramic views of the mountains, especially Mt. Kanchenjunga. Waking up to that view was a highlight of the trip! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with modern comforts while still reflecting the charm of the hills. Every detail felt thoughtfully done. The restaurant served a great mix of Indian and continental food, and the breakfast spread was hearty and fresh. I especially enjoyed the local delicacies they included. The resort’s gardens and open areas are perfect for a peaceful walk or just soaking in the beauty of Kalimpong. I’d definitely recommend this place to couples, families, or anyone looking for a calm and luxurious escape in the hills.

However, I was quite disappointed with how my room request was handled. I had specifically booked a view room two months in advance and clearly mentioned this during the reservation process. Despite repeated reminders at the time of check-in and during the stay, I was not provided the view room I had requested. It was frustrating, especially after planning and booking well in advance. While the rest of the stay was comfortable and the staff was generally polite, this issue did put a damper on the experience. I hope the management improves their attention to such requests in the future, especially for guests who book early and communicate clearly.

Reception was excellent.Rohan Basur needs special mention as a positive person with smiling face and always helpful to solve any issues. In dining area Prateesha was dedicated in looking after guests extremely well. Breakfast menu can be made better. HBL option should not be taken as it restricts the options of in room dining and truncated menu options. Our experience was excellent where we could see Kanchanjangha ranges from the Suite.

Bathroom in the suite should be provided with railing to avoid slippage specially for elderly. Otherwise facilities exceedingly well managed. Overall it is one of the best property.

Clean rooms, good food and courteous staff. Live music during dinner was a highlight. The views from the hotel were also great!

The description provided in Booking.com is not correct. The deluxe room states as extra large double bed which isn't. It's a regular double bed. However, we got it upgraded to premium room which had extra large double bed and was comfortable

It is a very beautiful property. It has a lovely garden and beautiful swimming pool. The staff provides excellent service and the room was great too.

I was not very happy with the food at the restaurant. I had chicken curry but it was undercooked. The staff did their best to make up for this by providing some other veg dishes but I was too tired to enjoy it.

Excellent location and picturesque view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from the room. Regular cleaning of window glasses will make the view much better. Delicious food, price also reasonable. Courthouse and welcoming staff made our stay memorable. Overall, excellent experience. I would r commend this property! Overall, very satisfied

Hospitality of the staff starting from front desk speciality Tania & her team was awesome. In Restaurant team Sowmadip, and his colleges hospitality is more than home.

If possible to keep some indore games I'm future. In case of rains people can play some TT to spend time & physical fitness.

The hotel is well maintained with a wonderful property and great location. It’s full of friendly and helpful staff who made our stay worthwhile. In a small city of Kalimpong with a shortage of Jain and Vegetarian food the hotel provided us with a wonderful Jain food with great hospitality.

Need to improve wifi connection Lack of heating in rooms ( they were kind enough to provide portable heating)

Spa was very, very poor. Would recommend to have a look at facilities before booking a spa appointment. Not up to the ITC standard at all
