The hotel is clearly a train station hotel, but it's working to be more than that. There's a breakfast provided, manga and massage chairs in the lobby, and at least one bicycle you can borrow for free to check out the sights of Toyokawa. I didn't try to breakfast, but the bicycle was great to use and very comfortable to ride. As a train station hotel, it naturally has good access to the local train station, and is a short walk (or shorter bike ride) away from the Toyokawa Inari Temple, which is to say, Toyokawa Kaku Myogon Ji. There's not that many convenience stores around, though I did find a good Taco restaurant a little beyond the temple - Brother Tacos.

The wallpaper in the hotel rooms is made of a cloth-like rather than paper or bare wall, so it tends to hang on to dust and dirt fairly easily and be really hard to clean off without damaging the wallpaper its self. That so, the rooms tend to look less clean. Not that they're actually dirty, it's just the appearance. If you don't mind that, the rooms should be fine for a short stay or two.

Toyokawa is a lovely place, hotel position was nice. Breakfast was ok, if you like Japanese/oriental breakfast but no continental breakfast

Very close to the train station, staffs were very helpful. Cleanliness, affordable and good breakfast.

The room and the bed is good for only 1 adult. If you'll stay here, better to get separate rooms as 2 adults cannot fit in the bed...not enough space in the room for 2 adults.

The location is great, even if the neighbourhood seems like a ghost town, near the temple. It has a wee onsen

The onsen had the window open during the women hour... Breakfast was way too EARLY, 6:30 to 8:30.

1-Smell smoke in elevator and 8th floor badly. 2-I am really allergic to Tabasco, l don’t like to see that people are smoking at front door of the hotel. 3-The refrigerator isn’t cold enough
