Very good place to stay in Roxby Downs with most elements spot on. Very frustrating online check in system should be either corrected or abandoned. System appears not to recognise pre- payment. System collects no information that is different to original booking and requires payment to complete. The facility sent around 5 messages asking for this to be completed. Non completion makes no difference to actual check in. What a silly process.

The room was clean and well maintained, Having read previous reviews, I was more than a little concerned, however the room was really clean. Parking outside the door. If the reception is unattended, you go to the pub across the road (where we had a really nice dinner). All of the staff I interacted with were great. We were in Roxby Downs in early September - there were flies EVERYWHERE! Bring the aerogard! This is not a reflection on the hotel, it is just outback living!

very clean, modern room . big television. great breakfast provided. nice enquire. proximity to bistro/tavern .

unusually soft bed . ( I like a bit firmer with support). being woken by a cleaner entering the room on my first morning of a two day stay . nit=picking now but more tv channels . Otherwise an awesome stay .

The price was really good, and it was one of the best places we stayed in on our trip from Adelaide / Alice Springs and back to Adelaide. The room was very clean, beautiful quality sheets and towels and was quiet in the room, had a TV but no WiFi. Ensuite bathroom excellent. Cleaning staff great.

On arriving at the Motel signage on corner of property to say it was the Roxby Downs Motor Inn needs to be bigger and brighter as the bluey grey background seemed to blend in with the tree trunks. As for the bonus question! wasn't really a romantic town!! breakfast wasn't available as looked like restaurant had been closed for weeks/months??? the pool area was really run down e.g dead plants and just not looked after (would have been lovely when first built)

Nice little accommodation in Roxby Downs. I wasnt hoping for much given the remote location of the town but there was nothing wrong with this accommodation. It was very comfortable and clean. The check in process was easy as well.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and fixed an issue with my telly. Never complained when they had to walk over in 40 degree heat because I had locked myself out of my room, they still greeted me with a smile.

I shoukd have ticked to stay downstairs.

Room was clean and spacious and had glass doors leading out to the pool area. Loved the rain shower too

Clearer directions to check in. Had not been to the area before so even though there was a sign on the reception door to check in at the tavern, it was unclear to us where the Tavern was.

Hotel has a good capacity with good facilities and is well located in the town. The room was large with a patio door into the pool courtyard area. Walls are properly finished not painted breeze block.

Cleaning of the worktop behind the toaster wasn't thorough. No complimentary milk in the fridge.

This is the only place in town to stay and it has been there for many years. I liked the fact the rooms have been done up and they were very comfortable and clean. Its central to the local RSL and pub and also to local takewaway. Woolies is only a short walk to replenish supplies.

The pool definitely needs some much needed attention. Its freezing cold, dirty as and I wouldnt swim in it the way it currently is. The paving surrounds around the pool and outside each room could have been swept and maintained much better. For the price...which I consider expensive there needs to be some tlc.

Room was clean and available before book in time, staff were very friendly and the ease of the meal across the road being booked back to hotel room.
