Everything was perfect - from the amazingly welcoming and knowledgable owner and staff to the refined decoration and the beautiful views into the pigeon valley. A very rare place with a soul, a home away from home with some very comfortable suites perfectly fitted for couples or families. Delicious breakfast with some daily variations. One of the best boutique hotels we have ever stayed in.

The sight of the snow fall over the valleys and fairy chimneys made every moment feel magical. A winter wonderland. Breakfast was a full spread every morning, and even on our last day—despite being the last to check out—we were treated to the same generous offering. It’s these thoughtful details that set Kistar Caves apart. What truly made our stay exceptional was the personal touch from the owners. Their warm welcome and heartfelt goodbyes made us feel like part of the family. As a lovely parting gesture, they even gifted us a box of Turkish delight with a cheerful Güle güle!—a perfect way to end an amazing trip. Absolutely stunning hotel from the outside and in (Google maps doesn't do the hotel justice) The rooms, lobby and dining areas were all tastefully decorated and furnished with beautiful artefacts. The location was perfect- with views of Uchisar Castle from the terrace and the hot air balloons at sunrise. Our room overlooked more of the caves carved out of the Tufa rock- simply stunning. The family room was absolutely luxurious. Our children (14 years and 11 years) loved staying in the 'cave' and there was ample room for us all- two large bathrooms, bedrooms and a large sitting area. Staff were friendly, helpful and super informative. The breakfast was lovely - fresh and a variety of dishes. We were very well looked after during our stay and we would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Great location, with terrace overlooking the valley in a very tranquil setting in Uchiser. Our cave style suite was awesome. Staff was very helpful and their day Manager Ms. Hamida was very kind and supoortive, and negotiated for us a very good price for Balloon ride operators. She also guided and adviced us on renting a car and drew a map for must see places for us. We had a very early morning checkout and Ms. Hamida made sure we get our breakfast packed and ready for us to take. Wish we had more time to stay at this peaceful place.

Kistar is the best hotel with most scenic views in Uchisar area. The room we got had the best view of mountains, valley and balloons in the early morning. The breakfast was very yummy and had lots of options. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The suite was having all the facilities and we got best cave experience in the room. It is located at very peaceful place with excess of taxi and bus. I would like to thank Hameeda who treated us like family and her support was constant throughout the stay. We also got small gift from them and we liked it. My words are less to describe this experience in Kistar hotel.

She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. From giving us great local tips to making sure we were comfortable at all times, her hospitality truly made us feel at home. We are so grateful for her warmth and care. We booked the family suite for 2 adults and 3 girls between 7-14 years old. Best accommodation in turkey through the week. The room was extremely spacious, lovely and the breakfast was a really nice personable touch. In the early morning, the open terraces gives a great paranomic view of the balloons against the landscape as its backdrop. Perfect spot to catch the sunrise. The hosts are a lovely couple who will be there in the morning to make sure everything is gone well at the dining area. We were also given some really nice tasting Turkish delight as parting gift. The floor heating in the three bedder room couldn’t be adjusted so it was slightly warm at night. Otherwise eveything else was perfect

The host family is extremely friendly and kind. They introduced the whole Capadocia tour to us in detail and welcomed us very warmly. The cave room was just exceptional and unbelievable - a fantastic experience to sleep inside - really like a baby!!!! Feels really comfortable! I definitely recommend everyone visiting Capa to stay here, it’s a much less busy town comapres to Goreme, with excellent restaurants and convenient transportation around, and I definitely recommend to drive around as towns and attractions are really close if you have a car. Once again, We love this place!

Amazing location with valley views in the heart of Uchisar, 10 mins from Goreme. 5 minutes walk from Uchisar Castle. You can enjoy the Goreme balloons from the terrace depending upon wind direction. Family run business. Very helpful and supportive staff. They let us check in 11 hours in advance at 3 am. without any extra cost. Hotel and rooms are aesthetically decorated. Great breakfast options. Actual hotel is better than what it looks in picture. Highly recommended and would love to stay again
