Ricky’s beach house has a great location! It’s away from the busyness and noise of the city on a quiet, beautiful beach. The staff were great! They were friendly, helpful and accomodating. Food was delicious and the live music at night was a bonus- just bring ear plugs if you like an early night! There’s great options for day trips- I loved the boat trip to the island, including snorkelling, snacks and lunch! The projects attached to the accommodation are super interesting and seem to be really making a difference for the community. Great job guys!

Lack of soap and toilet paper in the bathroom.

A wonderful place with clean, comfortable cottages, and dinner at a communal table where all guests had the opportunity to get to know each other, chat, and share experiences. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We went on a snorkeling trip for a chance to see the paradise. The owner cares about the environment, tries to minimize plastic use, and runs a sea turtle protection project. We highly recommend this place.

The staff were wonderful and so attentive. Friendly and accommodating. Was made to feel very welcome. Beautiful scenery and beaches to ourselves.

On the first night, some guests had a party and the noise was very loud. We couldn’t sleep and had to ask them to stop at 4am. One night there was a monsoon, there were leaks in our rooms and our luggage got wet.

Wonderful staff! Very friendly, many young locals coming to meet and help travelers. Lovely nightly sunset and stunning view. Accessible days trips. Ilham is an awesome managers of the property!

Having a more accessible wifi would be super useful. The of a youth/volunteer stay for travelers is nice, everyone is friendly. But I did realize at the time...my own fault really. But still overall a wonderful stay!

You can see turtles while snorkeling. The place is good for people who like to get to know different people and like to chat with locals.

Even though I knew about the place and it's project beforehand, I was slightly disappointed. It would have been nice to have a more comfortable chair or hammock in the villa and the beach. More importantly, for the money you pay, the bathroom facilities should get an upgrade and a thorough cleaning with actual cleaning products! Also, please provide handsoap in all your bathrooms. Unfortunately some people in the bay outside the resort play loud music during the day, sometimes starting at 6:30am. Even if they lower the volume upon request, it still disturbs the peace.
