Renovated but keeping its charm and character. Community owned and loved. Staff are helpful, happy and take pride in the historic building they work in. The food in the bar restaurant was excellent. The roaring log fire made the ambiance even better. Bedroom was small but very clean and comfy bed. Just what we needed for our overnight stay. As seniors we usually stay in en suite rooms. However the men’s and ladies toilets and shower rooms are large and modern. We are so pleased we decided to experience this wonderful place. To walk around the hotel takes you back to a bygone age with a modern way of life. Wonderful.

We went to see the Wildflowers and found Coorow to be a great base for our adventures. *Staff were super friendly and made us feel like part of the family. *Breakfast was great in that we could have a substantial bite to eat before we started out and at a time that suited us. Great variety of items for breakfast including toast, biscuits, cereal, snack bars, fruit plus a selection of coffees and teas, including pod coffee. *Dinner at the Hotel was fabulous. Huge servings, great price and fast service. *The bar area was nice and had the added comfort of a roaring fire. Bliss. *Shared bathrooms were beautiful and super clean. Towels and toiletries were provided. Towels were thick and fluffy. *Manager handled extremely self entitled and rude women with grace and dignity. I was very impressed.

There was an extremely rude group of women who thought it was perfectly acceptable to be rude to the staff. They also thought nothing of sitting in the common area upstairs at 10pm at night (which is right next to the bedrooms) playing games and chatting.

I was on a ‘wildflower trip’ with friends for a few days. We stayed at the Coorow Hotel twice over three days. What a gem of a place…fabulous staff, great pub, comfortable rooms, generous provisions in the ‘help yourself breakfast room’ (Continental). … even had a Nespresso coffee machine with choice of pods! We discovered, on our second visit, that the pub is owned by the community and is financially supported by the community farm close by. Local families apparently even provided assistance with decorating and upkeep. Please support the pub if you’re passing through Coorow…we need this place to stay afloat and not allow it to fall into disrepair like so many other regional WA hotels.

This hotel had an old world charm with the added bonus of being beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Also had a very friendly bar with toys and a cubby house for children and great food served promptly and with a smile and a chat from the great staff

I was worried about leaving my room to use a bathroom on the landing , but it was a lovely bathroom with separate toilet right opposite our room and just felt like home

The impressive colonial building was fitted out in a stylish and vintage way. I had a quiet single room opening onto the balcony with seating.. There was a spacious female shower room and separate toilet which was clean with quirky plants and decoration. The evening meal was exceptional in a friendly and attractive bar and dining room. Breakfast was comprehensive and a coffee machine was available and everything for a good self service meal including gluten free alternatives.

The hotel does not open till after 4 pm but I waited in the small well planted park opposite which had a toilet. Adjacent was an agricultural outdoor museum which was well laid out and interesting.

Breakfast room was basic but OK. All things were there, as well as a pod coffee machine. No complaints. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and well presented. It is an old hotel but that is part of the charm. You will have shared facilities, but that is fine. It was 'Parmi and pint' night. That was popular. A nice family atmosphere in the saloon.

The aircon was in-ceiling and I could not control the airflow. It had been a warm day. A minor point, though. I slept well anyway.

We had a room that opened onto the balcony ( requested same from previous stay ) so we had natural light and breeze , stair case is beautiful , the pub is a great friendly pub , and Coorow farm is just up the road , a great wildflower walk that we discovered by chatting to a local .we went to see Wildflower end Sept early Oct

No tap or sink in the breakfast area , but it is cosy and well catered

The continental breakfast was lovely. The staff were amazing and friendly. The meal in the restaurant was delicious.

Unfortunately I travelled with my mum who doesn't do stairs well and that was difficult however the staff as well as other visitors were very helpful. A second toilet and shower for the ladies would've made the stay even better. The men have a 2nd shower.

Evening meal was good quality pub fare, And good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms tastefully decorated.

Breakfast was basic, a bit limited, could be improved by providing some fruit and a range of breads. Shared bathrooms were adequate, but could be cleaner.

The staff were really friendly, and the locals in there were too - very chatty and pleased to tell us about the farming in the area. Being a community owned hotel this was really good to see. Dinner was good pub-grub.

Nothing to complain about really. Our bed was a bit uncomfortable, but ok. The only thing I'm not so keen on is a shared bathroom, but I was aware of this beforehand so not a problem. Other guests left earlier than us, so sharing was easy.
