I always stay at this hotel in Iquique because the location is excellent--just opposite the Playa Brava--and it is a good value for the money. I also always pay a bit extra for the beach view at the front of the hotel, which is worth the price although it can be a bit noisy with the drive-by traffic. The lack of restaurant is a drawback but they have worked hard to provide food options, including a snack bar on the premises and delivery service from several nearby restaurants. Also, there is a take-out pizza place and a very well-stocked mini-market with good prices right next door at the gas station. The staff has always been courteous and friendly, and the patio/pool area is a delight to sit in.

Location was convenient with short walk to restaurants and bars of the peninsula. Bed was really comfortable and room was big. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Pool and jacuzzi area was nice.

Our ocean view was not as great as expected, looking out at a building unless we stood directly at the window. Room was aged. Shower leaked, iron didn't work, some lights didn't work. No fridge to store snacks or water.

Room needs maintenance- curtains need to be hooked on the railing so that they open and close easily. Bathroom sink did not drain because there was a toothpaste cap stuck in the drain! A lot of noise from traffic because our room faced the street.

Good price for a family of 4 in one double queen room. Just a regular hotel room with the usual facilities. Private guarded parking. Nice location next to the beach.

Breakfast could have been better and for the size of the hotel the breakfast room seemed tiny and crowded.

Safe not working when we arrived, but fixed soon, few other things in the room not working, but were fixed soon (just two towels for 3 people), no fridge (arrived soon on request), no inner shower curtain (arrived soon after request).

If you ever have the misfortune of visiting this hopeless, sea-side slum town, you might as well stay at this overpriced ol' standby. Everything is new and clean and boring. And boring is as good as it gets in Iqueque.

The place was painted every shade of grey imaginable.
