The room had been recently refurbished and had a full size bathtub as well as a separate shower. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a king size bed. We could easily walk into town for a meal (it was some 400m) on the second night of our stay and we had no issue with traffic noise at night.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. We ate in one night and had great “pub food” - steak, salad and chips at a very reasonable price. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a self-contained room, with heaps of space, kitchen, laundry, and the kid's favourite - a massive tv! We could walk to the aquatic centre or it was a short trip to town. The owner was friendly and checked in on us. There was good heating (or cooling) & wifi. We'd return on a future trip. The baths (including a spa) are a highlight if you have kids, we spent an afternoon there despite it raining and being quite cold out

A few small things, but nothing to deter us coming back. The bathroom was in need of an update, though perfectly functional. A few more cups, some side lamps in the bedrooms and an extra chair for the dining table (4 of us but only 3 chairs)

We found the staff was friendly & couldn't do enough for us, Rooms were good size and clean. We loved the friendly service and the great meals at a great price we loved it so much we booked it for our returned trip & returned 3 day later for the great tucker & service.

The property exceeded my expectations. The room was big including shower and the massive new Hisense 55" Screen which I watched my foorty team play. The meal was marvelous and cheap for a T Bone & chips.

The bed was comfy and room was clean. I thought the property was excellent. Swimming pool was good.

Some stuff was left out around the pool, but I didn't mind too much.

Everything was exceptional. From the hospitality to the room to the food in the restaurant. Would definitely stay there again. Most certainly will recommend

The location was good …a short stroll into the centre. The room we had was very comfortable for our 5 night stay.

Just could hear eveyone walking past on the gravel outside...other than that...it's the best motel I've stayed in while travelling through the regional QLD area
