I loved my stay at the Nature Lodge in Sen Monorom and can't wait to visit again in the future. The Nature Lodge was a welcome sight after a long drive from Kratie but easy to get to from the main part of town by tuktuk. The staff were incredibly helpful, kind, informative of the accommodation, restaurant, cleaning and also assisted us with organising a local tuktuk driver who spoke English to take us around to the nearby sights, farms and places to eat as well as our transport to our next destination. The Nature Lodge felt like a home away from home while travelling because it was so relaxing. I loved the rustic hut I stayed in which helps you feel close to nature with the sounds of the horses, sheep, birds and resident lizards with their funny sounding call. The view from the lodge shows some of the beauty Sen Monorom has to offer.

Everything met my expectations and preferences but other guests may need to be aware that the huts are rustic - meaning they are somewhat exposed to nature where some bugs or lizards may pay you a visit but I didn't have any problems with this as they're harmless and everything was very clean. A safe in the accommodations might be helpful but we were able to store valuables safely with the staff while away hiking for a couple of days.

Very pretty grounds, lounge area was attractive and a great place for a beer at the end of the day. The pool was a really nice treat. The staff were superb — friendly, helpful with lots of arrangements, including early morning coffee before trekking.

One night we chose a simple bungalow with no air conditioning, but the fan and mosquito net were fine. On several other nights, we upgraded to air conditioning, but it was difficult to sleep because the air blew directly on us. The pool would have been more relaxing with lounge chairs.

We loved that his place is in a more natural setting - close, but just out of town. We are birdwatchers and there were lots of great birds right on the property.

Too many cats/dogs in the restaurant/common area, but others really enjoyed this. Food was fine, but being outside of town they charged marginally more than in town

Very nice place outside the main town. Very helpful staff (speaking excellent English) and good restaurant too. They have 2 types of accommodation: concrete or wood. I stayed in the (cheaper wooded), which is a bit rustic but suited me very well. From the porch I was able to spot 2 different barbet species, a Burmese shrike and lots of black drongo's.

Fabulous natural rustic environment. Run by a lovely family who can’t do enough to help you. Slightly out of town and rustic but without lacking amenities but worth the effort if nature and contemplation is your bag. Relax amongst fruiting avocado, mango and passionfruit trees as ponies roam around your bungalow. Lush!

Great place to stay and children loves the green with animals like horses, sheep etc. Lots of space for running and playing. The room was clean and spacious with top and bottom level to choose where to sleep.

Nothing really except some mozzies, bugs and a big spider that sent some of the children screaming :). The toilet water is a little weak and showering is not that enjoyable but nothing too serious. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food was reasonable nice.

The staff at the nature lodge are very friendly and helpful making the overall experience fantastic! They were able to find a solution to extend our stay in the last minute and organized our tickets to Kratie. Over the new year they organized special fireworks! The location is also great, in the middle of the nature! We will definitely consider coming back.

One downside is that the lodge is a bit far from the center. So, you need to consider taking a tuk tuk everytime you go to the town.

Nature lodge is a special place ! Its a great place to relax and unwind . The staff are so kind and work very hard and one of the best parts about Nature Lodge are the animals there that can entertain you and make you fall in love with the place … even more!!

It has great view. The place is spacious and surrounded by nature. It’s quiet, so there is no disturbance from city noise. It is a good place to escape from the bustling life of the city.

The cabin I booked has only 1 AC, so it took a long time to cool the whole place. Not ideal to stay during the day, but the night, it got colder. I suggest that fans should be added in case the weather is hot. There are quite many insects including ants and mosquitoes, so insect spray should be useful. The place seems a bit dusty, probably due to the lack of regular maintenance and cleaning. Some decorations should be added so that it won’t be so dulled. (example, at night it is absolutely dark, I think some night lights can make the place more beautiful).

Great for nature lovers! Very helpful and kind staff. The restaurant and bar is beautifully located with a lot of trees around.

The bungalows are located in a big green area which could be cleaned a little better. As it is not very warm in the region, it would be a little more comfortable to have sheets which are large.
