Our window opened to the Santa Maria alla Porta, one of the oldest churches of the town. Our host was very friendly and helpful. He was waiting for our arrival at the accomodation - which is a several hundred years old palace in the old town of the city - and helped find a parking place which is not easy in the downtown. He gave us hints what places to visit, and he was always open to questions or requests. The breakfast was perfect, with hot and delicious pastery and coffee. The room and even the bath have such special wallpaper and furniture that we felt somewhere in the 18th century. It was a very special experience, I can just recommend it.

There was no such thing.

The host and his approach were fantastic. During the stay there was a carnival, he offered us to join the celebration for friends. He helped solve the problems with the towed car, devoted a lot of time and energy to us, and thanks to him we managed everything better than I expected. And the breakfast was great, it wasn't the usual Italian breakfast made from packaged ingredients. We got fresh pastries, yogurt. Just a big thank you for everything!

The price-performance ratio was great. Of course, the bathroom can be newer, but everything is perfectly clean, constantly cleaned. Equipment from historical pieces, great and charming atmosphere.

This B&B exceeded our expectations, especially thanks to Mimmo who was so so so kind to us! He recommended us a good place to eat, he helped us find a parking spot for our car and even bought us a breakfast on our way to the airport! The room was big and quite, and the whole house was just incredible. My mum and I felt like princesses.

Just for you all to know, there isn't much to do in that area, but it's a strategic place to stay when your flight is early in the morning.

My family absolutely loved our stay at B&B Savarini. We booked 2 rooms in this amazing castle built in 1265. My room had a big balcony facing church of Santa Maria la Porta, in another room there were 2 french balconies. WiFi has a very good speed, interior is just amazing, the size of the rooms is very spacious, everything is 💯 clean. The breakfast was much more than a usual Italian breakfast: different pastries, yogurt, juice and coffee… everything was sooo delicious 🤩 And our host Mimmo, is just the best host I have ever met. He is so helpful, courteous and welcoming! We highly recommend this hotel and certainly will stay again here when we will be back in Apulia 😎

Everything was just perfect

An unique experience in a very special place, old and spacious rooms combined with modern facilities, situated right in the city center of Palo Del Cole , 20 min close to Bari. Great views from the balcony. Spacious, clean, with free parking spot in front. Mimmo is an excellent host, very kind and available, he prepares one of the best breakfasts, with fresh Italian pastries and coffe and much more. Thank you Mimmo.

Absolutely amazing! Right from the start, the hosts were super welcoming and friendly. The place had a cool mix of old charm and modern comforts. The rooms are super clean, comfy, and had everything I needed - plus a killer view! The hosts were really helpful, giving me tips on what to see and where to eat in the area. Breakfast was a treat every morning, with local pastries, and great coffee. I can't recommend this place enough! It's a true gem in Puglia! I can’t wait to return :)

The place is grand and right in the middle of the town. Clean room and nice big bathroom. Breakfast was simple but fresh. And the host was always ready to help out.

Driving to reach the place and parking in front is a bit of a hassle. However the private parking is well out of the city chaos and we were driven there by the host. So in the end wasn't that bad.

If you want to experience the life in an old and beautiful house, this the place to be. The house itself is amazing. The rooms are decorated in an old-fashioned way, so you feel like traveled back in time for a century or more. Every single detail in the room radiates history and tells its own story. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. The location is even better, right at the main square. Highly recommended!

Unique experience in a very special place. Everything is very clean and authentic. Beautiful building and perfect location at the heart of a lovely village, close to Bari and Matera, Polignano, etc... The owner is very kind and available, and we had the best Italian pastries of our stay for breakfast. We were able to park right outside the property. Fantastic value for money.
