I had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. The space was spotless, stylishly decorated, and filled with natural light. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, from the cozy furniture to the modern kitchen and spacious bathroom. The view from the balcony was breathtaking — perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The location was ideal, close to restaurants, shops, and public transport. It felt like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth throughout the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, style, and convenience. Would definitely love to return!

Everything was perfect

The obvious standout quality of the guesthouse are the views of the Caucasus mountains - Mt Kazbek was in full view from the north facing room giving it a real wow factor. The room was really comfortable, warm and had all the detail you would want as a minimum for a short stay. Breakfast is served in a communal area on the ground floor providing a range of options. I was visiting for a birding trip in the region as some of the sites such as the Sea Buckthorn plains and Mt Elias were effectively within walking distance although this required a decent level of fitness. The main restaurants were a 10 minute walk downhill which after a couple of crisp Georgian beers, made the walk back a little challenging :-) Thoroughly enjoyed my three-night stay there.

Just small details like a bedside light and a small refuse bin in the room would be positive additions.

Everything from the moment I checked-in I was welcomed by Sofie and her husband. Sofie offered me coffee and refused to let me pay and Even Medo had offered me a drink while watching the euro match and was really nice of them both. They made my entire stay memorable. The lady in the housekeeping was really friendly but unfortunately I didn’t know her name. The room had a breathtaking view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and you can also have it outside in the terrace which is lovely. If I ever comeback to Kazbegi I will be coming here again.

This is one of my best stays in Georgia. Wonderful Kazbegi 🇬🇪 Hotel Chemodann with excellent service , delicious foods (breakfast), lovely atmosphere with friendly staff ❤️ It was amazing, everything is done in the traditional Georgian style 🇬🇪❤️ Great, breathtaking views of the mountains and Gergeti trinity Church 😍 I have no words to express my impression. My deepest respect to the hosts, Mrs.Sophie and her family 🥰 Definitely recommend and come back again 🍷❤️

Great view, very nice family who run the place

Highly recommended! At first, we were skeptical due to some Trustpilot reviews, but from the moment we arrived, everything was perfect from day one to day three. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and offer great views. The owners are welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating, especially Sophie, who helped us plan our first day's activities and found us a great paragliding deal. There is nothing to complain about this place. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk to the center and the start of various hiking trails. There's also plenty of room for parking. Breakfast was good, though we wished there were more vegetarian/vegan options. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. Thank you for making our stay so special!

We had a lovely stay, the room was beautiful with high ceilings, the bathroom and especially the shower was great, something we’ve been lacking in other accommodations. The view from the room was out of this world. The host was kind and helpful and spoke great English.

The hotel is situated quite high up in the town so on a warm day it can be a bit sweaty but it’s all worth it for the view. In the end this is what you’re paying for.

The views! The room is very nice and spacious. The balcony, and the overall friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

A minor complaint is that electrical outlets in the room were awkwardly located. We had to put some electronics to charge on the heater because the table to put them on was too far away from the outlets, and we couldn't connect the electric kettle because the cable was too short. There were some outlets almost at the ceiling level which didn't make any sense. It didn't really detract much from our experience though.

The hotel is 15 min walk from the central road. It is a good and comfortable place. I was supposed to travel in the evening and my plans changed. I booked a room late around 9 pm and was welcomed by the owner. The room was comfortable and clean, the water hot and the bed comfortable. I had a very good rest! In the morning, I saw the beautiful landscape of mountains waken up by the sun and the famous Kazbek. It was amazing. Before the breakfast, I had a little walk on the neighboring mountain. It was stunning! The breakfast was a buffet, with a good choice of food. Thank you for this welcome. I definitely recommend this place and I hope to come back!

Instead of shower gel, I would add some soap.

It’s a cosy family-run hotel which is very stylish and rustic. Situated almost at mountain feet ,it opens a magestic view from your bedroom. The rooms are neat and comfortable ,breakfast is delicious ,but the main point is a kind and hospitable smile of the hostess,which makes you feel at home. Excellent taste,perfect location,good atmosphere inside that all equils your wonderful stay and mood! Thank you ,guys! We will be back!
