Great prices, very clean and comfortable room… Staff are friendly and helpful… Very quiet area close to Dollar General market and to Casey’s awesome about it. 12 minute drive to Walmart. Also, we have dealt with the owner and it was a great experience. He is very nice and polite and cares about her not just his hotel but his guests.

There is absolutely nothing. We did not like about this property or our stay here.

Marceline is my hometown and the little Hotel has been here for decades. It use to be called the Lamplighter. I came back for my 50th Class Reunion. It’s a very clean and nice Hotel. I would highly recommend it! Thank you

I loved that my family could feel at home here. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the environment was quiet, and supplies were provided in the kitchen and bathroom.

That my visit was too short. I wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing I could think of that would have made this room more entertaining and family friendly would be board games or even some Disney movies provided in the entertainment center in the living room which would also add to the Disney aesthetic ☺️

The executive suite was very spacious and well equipped.

The sofa wasn’t exactly a sofa bed- just a sofa that one could sleep on. Our biggest difficult was with the WiFi. The signal was very weak, and we could hardly access the internet that way at all. This also affected our ability to use streaming services on the televisions. Only one of those actually would turn on anyway.

It’s a one story motel reminiscent of Route 66 types but with a fresh look, newly painted, decorated tastefully with Disney movie artwork-ours of Animal Kingdom theme. Our comfortable kingsize bed , flat screen tv with Roku available, small fridge with freezer and attached bathroom with tub/shower were perfect for the one night stay. Ice available from the office, no breakfast but Casey’s across street. Our room overlooked a pretty garden area with blooming flower pots. There is a little seating area ( balcony) right outside the door. It was private and quiet and parking just steps away. We heard of Ma Vic’s cafe downtown and a local man at Casey’s offered to show us the way. Delicious breakfast, good prices and service.

Our air conditioner worked well but was a little noisier than central AC. Otherwise our room was quiet and pleasant.

Second Stay for me. Its a couple miles off the main highway. But its a clean, comfortable place to stay. Don't let the rates fool you as its far better than the rates appear. Instead of looking at inferior higher priced places in Brookfield Missouri, just do s short drive to Marceline, MO you will be glad you did

The value for the money. It was clean and reasonably quiet. The staff were accommodating. We would stay there again.

The train ran close by. We stopped noticing it so much the second night
