On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant.

The main downsides were definitely the lack of soundproofing — you could hear everything around — and the fact that there was no elevator, which made it less convenient. The view from the balcony was also a bit disappointing, as it faced a campsite.

Our room was really nice and very clean. The hotel was in the mountains which we really enjoyed. The breakfast the 1st morning was your typical Italian breakfast but the next 2 mornings the gentleman came and asked us if we would like some scrambled eggs with cheese and they were really delicious.

We forgot to bring our Italian book so me not able to speak Italian was a little difficult to communicate but we made due. I guess the daughter of the own could speak some English. I am in their country so I need to be able to communicate in their language as a courtesy to them.

The breakfast was world class bakery and other cooking on premises so exceptionally fresh every day. THere was no point looking fopr other restaurants a the menu was excellent and varied and the . Staff were fabulous with our little girl (who can be messy) Excellent Family business, well run and the original owner still works (hard every day) He built the Hotel and extended it, and runs it with his family. Woderful!

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast that was included. Also hotels restaurant food was lovely (not free) we had a room with balcony and the view of mountains were very picturesque.

The only thing we weren't keen on was the bed pillows 😴 hard and thick, but it didn't really affect our stay, still enjoyed it.

Very nice hotel, just in the middle of Castione and very close to the Monte Pora facilities if you want to spend some time on the snow. The room is very nice, just renewed and with very comfortable bed and a very beautiful bathroom. Very good breakfast and the restaurant is excellent! Staff is the very added value, very recommended!

Beautiful views of the mountains and Monte Pora. Food was excellent and the owners of the hotel couldn’t have been nicer to us. They accommodated us with transfers to and from the ski resort at Monte Pora which is only 12 mins from the hotel.
