I arrived with a bicycle and I was allowed to leave the bike inside a storage room! Breakfast had good coffee and croissants, along with fresh fruit and yogurt, meats and cheeses. The hotel staff were all very nice, and helpful. I enjoyed sitting on patio for breakfast, and in the evening.

I wish there was a bug screen on the windows so I could enjoy the cooler air at night without mosquitoes visiting inside the room.

Although Fumel is not the most attractive of towns in this area due to the demise of the main employer here, the hotel location is good for the town and for touring this beautiful area. It is comfortable, welcoming, a home from home. The food is very good, affordable. The terrace and swimming pool are lovely, especially after a day travelling for a cooling dip and cold drink. But the best thing about this place is the staff. Anne-Marie is very sweet and smiley, Nikki welcomed us warmly and helped with our luggage-but the star is Roland. So very very helpful to us sorting out taxis, further hotels and such a lovely, lovely man to talk to - in English. Cannot praise him enough.

Car parking close by. Wifi good. The weather was very hot during our stay, we were able to have drinks from the hotel bar or ice creams to keep us comfortable during the day, the air con in the room was efficient and needed !.The pool was a joy to use, with incredible views . We noted that this 3 star hotel was very clean and looked after. True a little dated in places but an affordable price means you can overlook minor niggles. We used the dining room each evening, and noted that prices are more reasonable than in our home department. Staff in the dining room, led by Rolande, were helpful and smiley, a true professional. Suggestions as to the wine list were offered, a personal touch much appreciated. Overall our stay exceeded our expectations, we would recommend and we will return.

We didnt take breakfast but a lovely coffee was available , we sat on the terrace to enjoy the morning sun and the wonderful views.

Great family run hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The views from our room very lovely.(back of hotel) We are Vegan and the hotel were so accommodating, their chef prepared special meals for us and that is something we didn’t get anywhere else in France. We travelled with our dog and the hotel were happy to have her in the restaurant and all other areas of the hotel. ( Another thing we didn’t experience elsewhere) Our car had broken down and all the hotel staff spoke English and we’re very helpful with local knowledge and trying to make sure we had what we needed. I’ll be eternally grateful for all these lovely, polite peoples help in our time of need. 5 star experience.

Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. Lots of choices at the buffet for both dinner appetizers and breakfast, the food was excellent and we were able to try a couple of local aperitifs. The pool was beautiful. There was bike parking in the garage, which was locked up overnight. We enjoyed the nearby church.

The water in the pool was too cold for me, but my son enjoyed it.

There was a great Buffet lunch available. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. View from our room was stunning.
