It was a charming heritage property and I intentionally booked a room on their heritage side. I was fortunate to come during off season so not too many noisy fellow tourists.

It was lovely but some of the maintenance details need to be attended to. To be clear, this is not a housekeeping or service issue. This is the property owner’s responsibility. E g there were not enough outlets; bathroom windows and doors needed upgrading; little better lighting. Also, given climate change, I arrived on a hot and humid day. I thought there would be air conditioning but there wasn’t. I think it would be pretty unbearable in the summer months.

This is a beautiful heritage property manned by ever helpful staff. The room that we were put in on the 4th floor were a tad smaller ( or felt smaller than they were ) but were functional and all basic amenities in place. The property has spacious common areas on certain floors which offer excellent views. Overall a good value for money.

- Since this is located a bit off the city center, a better equipped games room with a TT table would have been great. It does mention on Booking.com listing that it has a TT table, but on enquiring we were told there was none. - We would hear a lot of noises due to monkeys on the roof ( as it has a wooden roofing) - We found taste of certain items not to our liking - extensive use to Tomato pure ( the Chef informed us his preparation are in the local style )

Excellent stay. The location of the property was great and its look and feel was also very elegant and beautiful. The manager along with the staff were very cooperative and courteous. Every issue was attended to by them. The food was also good. I'd recommend this hotel for both long and short stays to all for leisure.

I think the hotel could increase its staff for the front office. While checking out in the morning, it took some time for a young guy to manage everything by himself. Otherwise it's all fine.

This is a special property that gives a feel of a bygone era. The rooms, my bedroom and public rooms all are done in "traditional" classic style and done with great attention to detail. And the grounds sitting out on the lawn sipping tea and looking out over the green mountains is so relaxing. I loved this property and would absolutely return again. The manager Manooch (spelling?) was hands on very personable making sure I was happy with all.

Only possible negative was many items on the menu were not available that night, however the food is excellent.

Cozy heritage property Priyanka on the main desk was very friendly, approachable and responsive. Also gave us valuable recommendations about nearby touristy places. Smriti at the restaurant was very cordial with kids and their food preferences.

Good for small groups. Air Condition should be there in suites also.

Big nice Room, prompt house keeping, restaurant, food, hospitality, ambience. In one word....very comfortable stay. Staff named Pranay n Sagar from front desk, restaurant Smriti and house keeping staff Salima are exceptionally good in rendering their services.

Well maintained and nice outdoor. Gentle and supportive staff.

Food. There is variety but not much taste. Tea/Coffee kept in regular vessel and not thermal, hence not very hot. Missed the local food recipes (e.g momo, thukpa, Nepali thalis), and instead it was a regular buffet. Suggest to introduce more local dishes.

The location, staff, breakfast, drinks, pretty much everything was perfect, room was also nice and clean. The Highlight of this place is the staff, they are super nice and helpful. Special mention to Pranoy for his suggestions of off beat hikes and view points

Everything was fantastic. From reception to restaurant. All people are very cordial and friendly. Received guest with a beautiful smile. Rooms are neat and clean. Anybody can reserve this hotel without second thought. I like this property.

Location is little away from the main square in a quiet neighborhood. It has amazing views of the Himalayas all around. The morning view of Kanchenjunga was the best. The rooms are big and spacious, had a colonial feel

Breakfast was service only, not buffet and service was slow.
