The bastide is wonderfull! The road to get there was challenging, I would not particularly enjoy driving it at dark but for afternoon and day it was perfect. The view however gives the reward. They have a nice restaurant and the staff is truly magnificent. So nice and caring. Also it was very quiet which as a couple without kids we treasure.

There wasn’t anything we did not like, maybe the room was a bit outdated and simple but as we were staying for a night and you are more there to visit the area then stay in your room it was perfectly fine!

Beautiful location right at the top of the hill with beautiful view as all around, including from the pool and sun beds. Lovely walks around the valley. Impeccably clean with comfortable beds and covers. Dinner was delicious with a good choice on both the adults menu and the kids one. Service was quite slow for dinner but with the view to appreciate it was fine, no rush! Breakfast was self service buffet, plenty to eat and choice was good. The receptionist (we didn’t catch her name) was absolutely lovely, very helpful with a small problem we had in the room, quickly resolved, and had lots of ideas of things to do.

Tea/coffee facilities and water in the room would be appreciated, especially as the location is away from shops and the hotel bar only open in the evening. Not the hotels fault as such, but a family dining next to us fed their dog at the table during dinner (refilled the bowl 3 times!). Dog was being defensive about his food, jumped & snapped at my son who was just trying to get up from the table - we have dogs & enjoy seeing them in hotels but don’t think feeding them in a restaurant is appropriate! Still enjoyed out stay, but perhaps some written guidance for owners about dogs would be useful for everyone’s comfort, since common sense doesn’t always prevail.

View and great, friendly staff. Staff amazing in restaurant and front counter of hotel. So nice to have a pool in these hot summer days too.

Breakfast was poor, with the price requested it was sub-par. Definitely the hotel need to buy another coffee machine otherwise people are waiting too long.

The location is superb with incredible countryside views. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Linda the receptionist who gave us some excellent suggestions for places to visit on our onward journey.

Sarah was very helpful, as was the waitress in the restaurant. wonderful experience, we will return!

Everything. It's absolutely amazing place to stay. We definitely will come back. There is restaurant in the first floor with large terrace for dinning. The view is so unique and beautiful. Definitely have your dinner there. The food is so tasty and well prepared. Location is very good as well. A lot of options for walks. And then the pool is so handy in hot days. The place is just perfect for couples
