The good, big room very inexpensive and clean. It had Keurig coffee machine which was a nice touch. The bathroom was also very big with a makeup counter just outside, lots of space, big room, two doors one leading to a hallway the other leading to your parking outside. Close to downtown if that's what you need but if you're just passing through it's a fine place to stay

The bad.... I was riding across the Prairies on my motorcycle and it was 38° that day. Needless to say I wanted to get into the room, however the counterperson said I'll give you 5% off right now if you give us a positive rating using this QR code. I said I could give you a rating after I've spent the night on booking.com, and he said he couldn't apply a discount if I did it that way. And I said I'm not usually into giving a review of a place that I haven't stayed at yet just to get 5% discount. I thought that was a strange way of doing business. And unfortunately you are near train tracks, so the toot toot went a few times in the night. I cannot say this is every night or every room.

You can discern that most of the staff members come from diverse cultural backgrounds but this motel truly operates as a family business, and EVERY staff member was genuinely kind. Their positive influence on the guests seemed to be infectious, transforming the morning gathering into a warm and friendly breakfast. The dedication to exceptional service was exemplified by a considerate gentleman at the motel. While power washing the floor, he went the extra mile by voluntarily cleaning all the dead bugs from the front bumpers of all the cars present.

There were a few minor issues worth mentioning. although they were still clean some towels and linens had small holes and may have surpassed their recommended lifespan😋 However, the shampoo and shower gel dispenser in the bathroom was visibly molded and urgently required removal and disposal.

Staff were very friendly on check-in. Room was clean and comfortable. Complementary breakfast in the morning was very good.

Fee per dog was a bit expensive and there could’ve been a closer area for the dogs to go outside considering the fee that was paid.

The breakfast was good. Lots of selection, it was fresh and tasted good. The staff is very friendly and quickly respond to any request.

The only thing I would improve in the room is the door. You can see daylight around the door and I could hear every vehicle start up and leave. It was very windy during my stay and the wind howled through the door all night.

The room had everything supplied that we needed. The breakfast featured both hot and cold items, fruit and several choices of drinks. No disappointments.

The utensils supplied with breakfast might be good for the environment, but are barely functional. The knives don't cut and the forks cannot pick up food effectively.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, which was most appreciated after a long day of driving. The bathtub was great. The rate I was able to get was incredible. I definitely received my money's worth.

The room seemed to be a double room, in that there was a room which was locked and didn't go anywhere, but the door went to the room next door. It was strange, not unnerving or leaving me to feel unsafe.

The bed was comfy, and the breakfast was good. It was decent value.

The bathroom had issues. Although they had recently installed a new tub some of the work was not well done. The toilet needed a new flapper valve as every 7-8 minutes the float would drop and the tank would need refilling. This can be annoying when all else is quiet, also a terrible waste of water.

Easy to find, staff were excellent!

My room did smell like cat pee a little bit but I know I had booked a pet friendly room and honestly I checked in late and didn’t bother asking to switch. I’m sure they would have switched me rooms if I had of asked.

Staff were friendly and helpful. They have a continental breakfast that starts at 6:00 AM. They allow dogs. Which was helpful as I have a dog. The room was very clean!! The bed was very comfortable!

The front staff was incredible. We got lost going to the dog park and called Wendy. She stayed on the phone with us until we got there! The room was spotless. I found no dirt anywhere. The bed was super comfortable. We would stay here again!
