The family suite was nice - a spacious 2-floor apartment which was perfect for us (2 families with little kids). The staff were super nice - we had some special requests and they did everything they could to make sure our needs were met. The breakfast was tasty and the rooms were clean and comfy. The possibility to do an online check-in beforehand was also a nice surprise.

Can't think of much we didn't like - the only thing that comes to mind is that the rooms got very bright very early in the morning so we would have liked to have some curtains or blinds on the bedroom windows. Otherwise no issues!

We were in Zdar for our annual visit with friends who live there. We couldn't get our preferred Airbnb so we booked at the HUL -- a place we'd noted on our previous visit. It will stay on our preferred list since it was such a positive experience on many levels. The rooms, baths, and breakfasts were very satisfactory and stress-free. The staff was professional, helpful, and kind. The lunches and dinners at the co-located Poppet were excellent ways to learn about the local cuisine. The location in the heart of the town makes it walkable to much you'd want or need in Zdar. It even has a fine long view of the Zelena Hora, Zdar's signature site.

Maybe an upgraded oscillating fan that was less noisy? I nit-pick only because HUL does everything well, imo.

The location of the hotel is good and there's also a parking right in front of the hotel. The staff was nice and we had a huge apartment with two bedrooms - really spacious and comfortable with nice bathroom. There's also a cool place for children to play - we really appreciated that. Also the breakfast was very good.

The only disadvantage was a private party in the hotel which lasted till midnight - it was pretty noisy.

My recent stay at this hotel in Žďár nad Sázavou was wonderful. The staff were friendly and provided complimentary parking tickets, which made exploring the town hassle-free. The food was tasty, and the apartment was surprisingly spacious. The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the town's history. Breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'd definitely stay here again.

A more comfortable bed would have greatly improved my stay.

Super location right on the town square, 15min walk from train station. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating , clean room and hotel after renovation, breakfast was very nice

Our room had oversized pillows that were extremely uncomfortable, opted to sleep without them

Location is the best you can get in town, 15 min walking distance from the train station, 10min from hockey arena, restaurants, shops and bakeries just couple min away. Very pleasant communication with the hotel staff Thank you for upgrading our room free of charge.

Very warm place. Very clean room, not big but enough for a stay of a single person. The restaurant in the hotel is also very good.
