Extremely clean and comfortable place! Probably the best motel experience I have had with such short notice. Bed was a firm one, which I like, but it is a tad firmer than what some describe as firm (my wife prefers a softer, hybrid style - this one didn't have any pillow top or memory foam topper). The shower had good pressure and got very hot. The room had amenities like a built-in hair dryer, small coffee maker, microwave & mini-fridge, along with a 2 chair dinette. The balcony on the front of the 2nd floor has a line of sight view to the saltwater bay and a pleasant breeze. The owner/operators are very cordial. Great place.👍

Location was good. No food services at hotel, but there is a good donnut shop right next door--with decent coffee. Beds were comfortable.

If I had paid $100 for this room, my review wouldn't be as positive. But I paid $50 and the room was fine. The hotel had been recently bought and the new owners were renovating some of the rooms. Whoever is doing the renovation should have their hammer taken away. The room had everything that we needed--two big beds, tv, and a bathroom with a large shower. There just wasn't any charm (and limited amenities), but that was okay. We were there for one night and the price was good.

The location was fantastic! Easy to walk to Main Street area, close to restaurants, shops, and especially the beach. Room was very clean very spacious with excellent ac unit, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, super deep and large closet, great mini fridge kitchen area, the full ceramic floor was easy for the sand and dirt control. They had a wonderful pool that was the perfect temperature and size! Parking spaces were great, overall a great spot. The owners were the kindest and sweetest family ever! Will absolutely be back and already told everyone we know to stay here in the future. Thank for a wonderful weekend!

Nothing it was all great!

This is an older motel that obviously has undergone an extensive remodel. There was new flooring, new beds, bathroom with all new fixtures. It was extremely clean, and triple unit with 3 comfortable queen beds was comfortably cool with wall unit a.c. There was a refrig. and a microwave. Front desk personnel were very pleasant and very helpful. The location is fantastic! Parking is great. I will definitely stay here again!

There was only one chair, at the desk, in this large unit and virtually no chairs at the pool. The towels in the room were quite small and thin with no daily trash pickup or fresh towels offered.

Location was excellent. I wanted to be within walking distance to Rockport Beach and the Art District. Rockport was celebrating their annual SeaFair festival with all awesome and local vendors. The property is currently under new management. I met the new owners and they were very polite and very proud of their Inn. We will definitely stay at the Village Inn again.

Only complaint, the parking lot could use an upgrade. Old asphalt with many holes..Other then thats, it was a great stay.

The owners were 👏super kind! I was alone while my husband went on a trip and needed the wifi, and it was late, and she kindly walked me the password on a card she said no, it was late. I felt safe for that. The shower pressure and hot water worked amazing. The owner sam was very humble and kind he helped me and my husband. The pool was so cleaned And i went swimming for a while nice quiet with the warm sun we will always come back. Thank Sam and to your wife ❤️ room 107

The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful Our room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable I loved that it was so bright and airy with pale paintwork and floors. The addition of a small table with two chairs would have made it perfect. I usually pay for all my accommodation on touring holidays via booking.com, but Village Inn Motel handle their own payments. After I had checked out, I was informed that I had not paid because I had cancelled the booking. Fortunately, I paid by card. A bit off putting for the future

i do not think that you could find a better deal for the money! Very friendly management and eager to serve. We were surprised to see that the room had a full size fridge, extra sink and a stove top too! They do not have an ice machine, but ice is available just down the street. The interior is clean and we both slept well. Will use again when we find ourselves in Rockport. Very convenient to everything!

No complaints at all. An exceptional deal

The location was perfect. You could walk to the beach. The view from 2nd floor was beautiful as it was looking at Rockport beach. The motel was plain but it was clean. Based on location and friendly staff I would definitely stay there again

Provided additional coffee in the room on a daily basis (only had 2 so only 1 cup each) on the first day. Should have at least 2 per person daily

Family owned ,I stayed at motel 6 ,OYO or Super8 and this is hands down best. clean and smells great! Mini Fridge bigger than most and microwave in the room. 3 super fluffy pillows on each bed ( 2 queen bed room) The owners were super friendly and treated my family like their own, rooms are renovated and have super cold A/C Wells fargo Bank just in front and there was a donut place at 1 block , Walmart and HEB were at 5 min drive distance , for the price/value you can't beat Village Inn. Next time we are going to Rockport , this will be our motel again .
