Awesome view! Such attention to detail at this family run hotel. It's like you are staying at the Ritz without the name... there is such attention to detail at this lovely hotel. The staff are wonderful, our shower was by far the best shower in all of the places that we stayed in Italy. The grounds are phenomenal and the pool area exquisite. There is a lovely private spa that can be booked for an hour that is $15 and worth every penny! The breakfast was amazing and plentiful. They will cook your eggs to order. This was our favorite stop of all 10 that we stayed at throughout Italy.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Del Borgo. It exceeded our expectations in every way, but most importantly it exceeded our service and hospitality expectations. Alessandro and his mother were fantastic in every single way. We couldn't thank them more for their excellent hospitality. Breakfast was a delight and the pool was just lovely. Our room was large and very comfortable and when we asked for an extra pillow and Alessandro forgot before he left for the evening, he came all the way back to the Villa when he remembered to deliver it to us. Talk about service! Can't say enough great things about our stay. Thank you for hosting us!

Modern, welcoming, comfortable and stylish - and the hotel is so quiet and calm! The pool area is very charming, and our modern room had a great and huge bed, with a very large bathroom. You can’t hear any noise, which we loved. Breakfast was really excellent, one of the best we have had in Italy! Fresh ingredients with a wide selection. The aperitivo (platter/drinks) is also wonderful! We had it both nights we stayed. The staff really make this place the best: welcoming, friendly and professional! Service is top, and we definitely felt at home here.

Beautifully historic, yet with refined modern touches. This place is fantastic and quintessential Piedmont. Everything from check-in to check-out was taken care of with a personal touch. One of our biggest regrets was missing the breakfast our first morning because we slept so well after a long day of travel. Thankfully we woke up at a decent time the next day and had the breakfast, Amazing! We enjoyed the Ebikes and were given recommendations on wineries and bike routes. Reservations for dinner were also made and didn't disappoint!

Amazing stay in a pittoresque relais (a former monastry totally renovated with all the comfort you need for a wonderful stay), very nice pool area in the garden, quiet & super nice environment, super friendly staff, delicious breakfast with gluten free options (they even made a gluten free cake esp. for me!), the owner Patrizia was very helpful with recommandations, Mille grazie for a fantastic stay!

Beautifully decorated, spectacular views and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast superb and lots of opportunities to enjoy a glass of wine on a terrace. Close proximity to lots of great local restaurants and of course wine country

Amazing location. Room was impeccable and I really suggest everybody to try the suite if available. A work of art. Staff was extra kind and friendly. They arranged everything perfectly for us from arrival to check out. Don’t hesitate to ask them for a drink or a full “aperitivo”. Breakfast was beyond any expectation. They are just on point. Awesome experience.

Villa del Borgo is beautiful. Patrizia has a gorgeous location, just a short 10-15minutes walk to restaurants in Canelli. The rooms are beautiful in this old monestary, the breakfast was exceptional (Thanks Simone for those scrambled eggs with parm!). It was certainly a luxury location. My husband said the pillows were the best for him. I really enjoyed my 8am swims in the pool overlooking the area and town. Oh and a nice touch in the room, slippers and flip-flops.

Nada really, it was lovely. The church bells next door dinging at 6am aren't so fun and every once in a while a little noise in the night from a car/tractor driving by the tiny cobblestone street. Bigger pool? Haha, it was lovely for lounging and a gorgeous view. We didn't realize it was a bit further to certain wine areas (eg. Barolo was about 45+minutes by car). Walk a little bit further to the restaurants in town instead of across from the location ;).

The whole experience was truly amazing! Such lovely staff, the service was outstanding. One of the best places we’ve ever been to. The hotel itself is beautiful and the sorroundings are amazing.

wonderful host and staff.. beautiful in every way possible. peaceful, joyful, a stunning aesthetic. a peaceful and calming place to spend some time. highly recommended. stylish but simple rooms, beds, baths and a wonderful scent that fills the air throughout.. such a special place and peaceful base to see the town and sites in the region.
