Our stay at this stunning hotel in Piedmont was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—genuinely warm, attentive, and thoughtful without being intrusive. Every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, blending classic Italian charm with tasteful modern touches. Each space, from the rooms to the common areas, felt curated and cozy, with elegant details that reflect the character of the region. This place truly captures the heart of Piedmont. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of our return.

Every little attention to detail is met at VdB. The owners have a great eye for style and quality. The breakfast layout and choices, fresh home made cakes and jams, fresh juices and the option to have pretty much anything made was fabulous. We had top floor suite which is perfect for a family of 4 with 2 children sharing a large sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom is beautiful and the bath has an incredible view over the vineyards. Very welcoming and helpful with recommendations and booking restaurants, wine tours etc.

Awesome view! Such attention to detail at this family run hotel. It's like you are staying at the Ritz without the name... there is such attention to detail at this lovely hotel. The staff are wonderful, our shower was by far the best shower in all of the places that we stayed in Italy. The grounds are phenomenal and the pool area exquisite. There is a lovely private spa that can be booked for an hour that is $15 and worth every penny! The breakfast was amazing and plentiful. They will cook your eggs to order. This was our favorite stop of all 10 that we stayed at throughout Italy.

That we could not stay longer, this place is great!

We had an excellent stay at Villa Del Borgo. It exceeded our expectations in every way, but most importantly it exceeded our service and hospitality expectations. Alessandro and his mother were fantastic in every single way. We couldn't thank them more for their excellent hospitality. Breakfast was a delight and the pool was just lovely. Our room was large and very comfortable and when we asked for an extra pillow and Alessandro forgot before he left for the evening, he came all the way back to the Villa when he remembered to deliver it to us. Talk about service! Can't say enough great things about our stay. Thank you for hosting us!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Villa del Borgo - the great location, the lovely breakfast and the friendly professional staff. Best mattresses we ever slept on.... The spa is at extra charge, which we found adequate, given that this is a small hotel and the spa can be used exclusively.

Just a minor suggestion: To make the stay even more perfect, a coffee machine in the room would have been great.

Modern, welcoming, comfortable and stylish - and the hotel is so quiet and calm! The pool area is very charming, and our modern room had a great and huge bed, with a very large bathroom. You can’t hear any noise, which we loved. Breakfast was really excellent, one of the best we have had in Italy! Fresh ingredients with a wide selection. The aperitivo (platter/drinks) is also wonderful! We had it both nights we stayed. The staff really make this place the best: welcoming, friendly and professional! Service is top, and we definitely felt at home here.

Beautifully historic, yet with refined modern touches. This place is fantastic and quintessential Piedmont. Everything from check-in to check-out was taken care of with a personal touch. One of our biggest regrets was missing the breakfast our first morning because we slept so well after a long day of travel. Thankfully we woke up at a decent time the next day and had the breakfast, Amazing! We enjoyed the Ebikes and were given recommendations on wineries and bike routes. Reservations for dinner were also made and didn't disappoint!

A fantastic stay! The place has excellent facilities, is beautifully designed, and feels both stylish and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay in a pittoresque relais (a former monastry totally renovated with all the comfort you need for a wonderful stay), very nice pool area in the garden, quiet & super nice environment, super friendly staff, delicious breakfast with gluten free options (they even made a gluten free cake esp. for me!), the owner Patrizia was very helpful with recommandations, Mille grazie for a fantastic stay!

Beautifully decorated, spectacular views and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast superb and lots of opportunities to enjoy a glass of wine on a terrace. Close proximity to lots of great local restaurants and of course wine country
