Wonderful overnight stay, from the welcome we received to the goodbye in the morning, it was perfect. The breakfast was great, dinner was first class with the waiter giving us 5 star service. Our room was large with comfortable beds. The bathroom is a wee bit dated, but everything worked just fine, so no complaints from us. The pool was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

They upgraded us to the apartment and it seems new. It was clean and very good for the family.

It is not about the property or maybe it is part of it. We had a dinner, and the food doesn’t taste good. I mean it was cold. It would be nice if the main dish is warm , it is just me being asian maybe. But the breakfast is very good, has a variety of dishes.

Room is very spacious, nice, bright, the bed is comfortable. It was clean. The hotel is a bit old, the whole ambience gives the impression of the 90s, which in the end did not seem so wrong to us, it was nostalgic. The hotel is designed in such a way that most of the rooms are on the ground floor. Our room faced the parking lot, but there was no noise at night. There is a coffee machine in the room, which is great. The wardrobe is practical. We didn't use the pool, it looked ok, but I don't know how the water temperature is. There is a free parking lot in front of the hotel with plenty of spaces, the hotel is located in a quiet area, close to the sea. The walk in the surroundings was beautiful, with a view of the Danish beaches and typical houses. At first impression, the breakfast seemed very minimalistic, but it turned out to have everything you need for a good hotel breakfast , it was also delicious, so i like it a lot.. Fresh bread, delicious vegetable and egg muffins, pickles, paprika, butter, honey, eggs, tea, coffee, jam, still warm cinnamon rolls, watermelon, melon, etc. Since we arrived late in the evening, the reception gave us instructions on how to collect the keys. everything was fine and easy. The hotel could be renovated, but I still had a good time, especially because of the delicious breakfast.

Fantastic hotel, staff were so freindly and helpful, nice clean simple rooms. Restaurant and bar were great too. I imagine this place gets very full during the holidays but mid week was nice and quiet.

Would have liked more cooked items at breakfast like bacon, sausage etc but thats just the Brit in me coming out :-) Fine if you are happy with a continental style breakfast.

Simple, clean hotel situated right next to the sea with beautiful countryside around. A bit longer walking distance to Grenaa center, ideal for bicycle. Nice swimming pool.

As I arrived after midnight and asked few times before arrival how the check-in will be possible when reception is closed at that time, no one answered my emails. Luckily I have Danish brother-in law who called there and asked for the guidance. For the hair dryer you have to go to the reception, not available at the room.

Breakfast was moderate

When we arrived, having already received a welcome text message there was no one in attendance and no room or key allocated for us. We were obliged to help ourselves to a key from the mail box to access a room which was not properly heated and was therefore very uncomfortable in the freezing weather. We went to reception the next day and were moved to an entirely satisfactory room.

* The hotel is located in a wonderful place. If the weather is pleasant, you can walk around, it's boat dock in front of the hotel. Also marine life center (Kattegatcentret) which is good idea to visit when you travel with kids. * We choose this hotel because of SPA. There are 2 pools. One big and one small for kids. Also jacuzzi. There are sauna and steam bath. We like this "pool area". * Breakfast - great variety, fresh and delicious! Even the bread was hot at 8:30 am.

* There are NO HAIR DRYERS! Neither in the apartment nor in the changing room in SPA area. * Jacuzzi works only ~10mins and then you have to wait ~10mins of cleaning (so it's no bubbles, you just lay in still water) to start jacuzzi working again. * In the apartment - little closet under the sink in bathroom could be cleaner ... Also it would be better if there was a lighting (lamp) above the shower. It's too dark in the shower if you close the shower curtain.

The staff was especially helpful, and after a small issue, upgraded our room and fixed the problem immediately. Location was great, breakfast and views from 2nd floor were fantastic. Older infrastructure, but not off-putting. A nice, friendly vibe.

I had never stayed in a hotel like this on one level. It is huge, has all the facilities you could ever want, you're immersed in pure nature (ie the birds chirping wont let you sleep:)). I would whole-heartedly go back.

Large room and comfy bed. Good selection and quality for breakfast. We also had dinner which turned out to be excellent . With it being a seaside holiday hotel, our expectations weren’t high, however we were very pleasantly surprised.
