Beautiful location, and very clean facilities. Staff were great and allowed us to check in after arriving a little early from our drive to the property. In close proximity to Ashizuri cape which I saw them offering buggy rides to. They also have e-scooters and bike to rent. The outdoor onsen was beautiful and relaxing.

There is quite a bit of walking and stairs needed in order to make your way to the onsen and breakfast at the restaurant. probably not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Onsen is only open in the morning 0600-0830 and then closed for maintenance, not sure what time it reopens as we only stayed the one night. When we checked in early around 2:30pm, the onsen was also closed.

The outdoor onsen overlooking the ocean was great. Eating breakfast with the sea view was lovely. The chef searing the bonito in front of you in the Japanese dinner was fun.

It was really crowded on the weekend. The onsen was so packed it was hard to relax. Also, the employee who greeted us and gave us instructions was so sick that he could barely get out a sentence without coughing. My wife and I were both worried we were gonna get sick (thankfully neither of us did). I don’t blame the employee, I think that he should have been sent home by management, and he certainly shouldn’t have been greeting and checking in guests. Also, I don’t recall choosing Italian dinner, but I was told that I did and the first night it couldn’t be changed. I was very disappointed, I didn’t travel to Japan to eat Italian food. This could have been my mistake, but it was still disappointing.

The views over the sea are amazing. Also, nice complex. We liked our non-renovated apartment. It is getting tired, but that’s why they are renovating it. Bath and futons are still really enjoyable. Lots to do for the kids as well Combing Italian and Japanese food is nice for variety. Breakfast was very tasty. We liked the included drinks jn the bar too. Stargazing experience was something to remember. Staff is very friendly and promptly corrected a billing issue that could have been explained in their or our favor, and for which they decided on our side, which was really grand of them.

A real gem, in a beautiful part of Shikoku. Nicely renovated and spacious room with view over the sea, great welcome by staff, very good breakfast and the best: outside hot bath with view over the cliffs (and probably the stars, hidden that day by the clouds). It was a last minute decision to go there, decision I do not regret. The restaurant was unfortunately closed on a Wednesday, but there was a nearby place that served excellent homemade food (Café Cape).

The hot bath area has a Showa flair - but that may be intended.

The cliff side view and Onsen was absolutely amazing. Although on the day of arrival it was windy and rainy, but once the sun came up the next day, the view and vibe is world class. The Italian restaurant is also amazing.

It would be the location where it is located as it's rather remote and there wasn't much establishments around; however, that's what makes it unique.

We very much enjoyed our 3 days at TheMana! Our little highlights were the private bath on the room balcony with a nice view at the moon and the sea, very delicious japanse dinners - one night served on the restaurant porch overlooking the sea, and a nice walk along the cliffs and through the villages right off the hotel. The entire staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. It was the perfect relaxing retreat with a nice local touch after 2.5 weeks of traveling Japan.

The breakfast is a fixed menu. At the price level they were charging you would expect a buffet and butler service. The staff did not seem to cater to English speaking guests a lot

This is a very clean hotel with a nice outdoor onsen that faces the sea. There was even an outdoor tour to stargaze. We were fortunate that the sky was clear for 20 minutes that we can look at the stars. The guide was also very knowledgeable in this subject. The bar at the lobby also has free (unlimited!) drinks that is available anytime in the day. The room was huge by Japanese standards, and the view from the room was amazing, especially in the morning.

The view was absolutely amazing. The hotel was beautiful. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were great (breakfast in japanese and western styles to choose). Outdoor public onsen under the star was unforgettable. Free ice-cream/drinks from lobby cafe and easy access to surrounding sightseeing locations made the stay even more exceptional.

The resort is one of the best I’ve been to. Staff is beyond amazing, the grounds are so beautiful and the food is great! Thank you for everything. Our room had all what you could wish for. I can’t wait to go back soon.
