Special note of thanks to the entire staff at the resort, specially Lalit, Neeraj and the Chef. The food very tasty and was pretty much customized on our request. Room service was never a problem. The staff went on an extra yard every time to ensure that the guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay. I will not at mind visiting here again. There is a small trail that goes to the back side of the Nauckuchiatal lake and not be missed. Our stay ensured that it is relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are multiple adventures that one can do within 5 kms of driving distance, if anyone wants to engage in. Our family included people from 4 generations right from 9 year old to 84 year old and everyone had a great time. Thanks to the entire staff. One last thing that I do not want to miss, is stating about the amazing garden that the owners are maintaining which includes beautiful flowers, home grown apricots and plums that they were happy to pluck and share with us. A big shout out to them!

The beds and pillows, including the sofa cum bed in the rooms are not that comfortable and may require the management to look into those. As we checked in, our expectation was that this would be a bigger place, which it was not. However, this is not a problem at all, as you do get used to the place in a few hours itself.

The breakfast was freshly prepared and in a home cooked meal style. Given the rural setting, it was appropriate with eggs to order, sandwiches, poha, paranthas etc. The location is a good 5 km from Naukuchiatal, but it is quiet and has good night sky views due to reduced light pollution. So bring your telescope. The staff was very helpful. One of them changed the bed linen as soon as I pointed out it was a bit stained. There are birds and flowers in the hotel premises. A very nice weekend retreat for city dwellers. I strongly recommend such locations over the overcrowded underwhelming Nainital or noisy Bhimtal.

The staff made up for any deficiencies.

The place is mesmerizing at the hill foot, under the valley. View from the room is awesome, at one end there is a Naukuchiatal and other end high Himalayan mountain peaks. It is magical to see lake and himalayan peaks, cloud formations in a bright sunny day. Hospitality was awesome, friendly staff, food was awesome (dinner, snacks and breakfast). Final verdict, it a must visit place if you are in search of peace in the laps of nature. Best of luck for the property, keep it up the spirit.

Everything was awesome, as per the expectations, they provided everything which a 3 start property provide, including toiletry, gyeser, tea/coffee, refrigerator, electric cattle, tv with active set-top box and room service. everything was value for money.

The property is nice, located within the mountains. The staff are superb and the food was good and tasty. There is open space for badminton and few swings for the children. A cricket net is also a nice addition. All in all a nice, quaint place located deep within the mountains. Fortunately the weather was also good for us.

The approach to the property is difficult with well laid road not there at present. The rooms were cosy, but the suites provide better space. The standard rooms may be a bit small for family.

Really nice property with exceptional food.

We were travelling with a pet which was mentioned at the time of booking however at the time of stay they asked us for extra 1000₹ to allow our pet in the property even though it was mentioned in their booking description that they do not charge extra for pets.

Very good location and breakfast. Property is well maintained and is very refreshing. The views from the rooms are great though could be better if the construction activity stops.

Washrooms are too small and ergonomics are not great. Also the access to the property is not very convenient. On our way back, there was a dumper that broke down before the main road and we somehow managed to get out of the situation (barely). So in case you are on a tight schedule, do provision for such low probability situations.

Overall experience was fantastic. The flower decorations are amazing. The cool breeze made the stay wonderful. One of the lakes (Naukuchiatal) is nearby, at a walkable distance. The food was amazing. Loved the food. They cook everything afresh hence you need to have some patience but the quality of food was awesome!

Cleanliness, especially bathrooms could be re-done a bit.

I would like to start with the location, entrance and reception, location, where this beautiful cottage was located was very scenic. Entrance itself was very beautiful and well decorated with flowers & wooden work. Reception was handled by the guy I don't remember his name but he was very polite and humble. He even contacted me and directed me to the cottage I had requested for a cake and he did arrange that for me. The cottage was full of greenery and one could see plethora of flowers around it. The room was very tidy so as the bathroom. I would also like to mention the food which was very tasty and they said they usually prepare the fresh food for the guest which is 💯 true coz we have experienced it. They had offered the complementary breakfast which was again very tasty and one can eat plenty of variety. We had had veg sandwiches, papaya, chole poori, noodles, omlette and offcourse the tea. Nothing however I would like to mention if they can provide the bonfire arrangement for the guest or if they could prior mention it somewhere so that one can enjoy it in their rooms not only outside.

The washroom was bit too small, and there was no microwave in the kitchenette. what is the purpose of giving kitchenette if one cannot cook because of no microwave

This is right in the middle of the valley and waking up to chirping birds and greenery was blissful. Excellent staff, generous and courteous. Food was outstanding. They can prepare food as per your taste and liking. Has a large variety of plants. Beautiful landscaping. Is at a walking distance from an adventure sports zone where one can enjoy lot of games.

Lack of signages. It's a little difficult to find unless you are using GPS. The local administration should work on making the roads better. Fixtures in the washrooms need some maintenance.
