They have a great spread for breakfast. Parking is convenient. Everything seems modern except for the unpaved parking lot.

The air conditioning unit in our particular room either had to run only low speed to blow any cold air, or run non-compressed, non-air-conditioned, just fan wind air when blowing on the high speed. Maybe that unit needs repair or replacement? Also, what happened to the hot tub and the pool?

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Location was good and parking was easy. The breakfast was alright for something quick to have, nothing fancy.

The pool was pretty iffy so we didn’t use it, hot tub was out of order. There wasn’t any shampoo, conditioner or bar soap in the bathroom.

This is a very small town with few options. The outside could definitely use some cosmetic upgrades. My room was very nice and clean. I would have no reluctance to stay there again.

Breakfast was very good each day

We were bird hunting, and the hose was unhooked so we were unable to clean our birds on the last day. We did, however find someone that cleans birds for a small charge, so that was good.

The room was spacious and clean. The TV stations offered me everything I needed - ESPN t watch the Avs beat Tampa 7-0! The staff was helpful and friendly. They were dog friendly. There was a nice green space behind the hotel to walk our dog. The location is walking distance to a few places to eat and / or drink. there is a gas station next door with competitive prices and cold drinks, including beer. They have a nice, casual, continental breakfast. When we were there they offered biscuits & gravy, English muffins, orange juice, good coffee, etc. There are tables set up for communal dining. The other guests were really friendly and they loved meeting our puppy. The Kings Inn was a much better experience than a hotel we stayed at the night before for twice the price. Don’t overlook this great little find in a friendly little S.D. town. I would absolutely stay here again and would look forward to spending more time in town, sitting down to dinner, meet some local folks, etc.

stretching here, to find something. I couldn’t really understand how to adjust the air conditioning. My wife figured it out. She “pushed a bunch of buttons”. maybe a quick cheat sheet about how to use the A.C. would be helpful?

Nice facility & very nice staff. Couldnt have ask for anything better in a small town on a hunting trip.

Nothing I can complain about or suggest that would make it any better

cost efficient . I stayed for a basketball tournament and it was right around the corner of the school we played at.

The hot tub was waiting for maintenance , that was one of the reasons I wanted to stay there. Besides being close to the school . I wanted the hot tub for us and pool for children. The pool was very cleaned and we did enjoy our pool time .

In needing to recuperate both mornings after long trips and day trips, we liked how quiet things were around us and around our room, which was something we did specifically request.

I think that probably the only thing we did not like but is understandable at every fine place we have stayed and that is that breakfast is not able to be served all day, as we needed to sleep in, but that is just fine.

I like being able to back the car up to my room door.

We’ve stayed here at regular intervals over the past 15 years and everything I haven’t liked has been fixed.
