This motel was comfortable, clean and convenient. It was also quiet despite being on a major road. Breakfast is hearty and included. We have always had good evening meals at this venue and my hubby was happy with bar service. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our TV had an issue, so they moved us to another nearby room straight away. This is an ideal place to stay for an overnight on a road trip for adults. Bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Decor is getting a little tired as these rooms are well used by the itinerant workers for the mines. Everything was clean however. It didn't bother us in the slightest, but the rooms are basic. If you are looking for luxury or romance, this is not the venue for you.

We loved everything about the Coal and Cattle, we had little expectations, for us it was just a stopover between destinations. The dinner delicious and value for money, the included breakfast was awesome, the accommodation was all we needed, we had no complaints. Then the little town of Moura had a lot of appeal, silo art, coal miners memorial, great coffee and everything we needed, I wish we had done our groceries there as Rolleston was our last opportunity to get supplies and was lacking and expensive.

Everything was top, the room was clean, and the breakfast was huge. Bed was comfortable. The only thing that was a pity was that it was good Friday so no pub open, and no meal at the Coal n Cattle for us..

There was a couple in near us that was yelling too note swearing at each other all night my granddaughter was very scared it took me along to get her to settle to go to sleep I was not happy at all was going to put in a compliant about them

The package of accommodation and breakfast was a reasonable price. The unit was clean and roomy. My support animal was accepted without a problem.

I had hoped there would be a microwave as I had evening meals to heat.

Had to find someone in the bar for check in. Didn't explain process for breakfast so our food sat there for 15 minutes before we realised we had to collect it. Having said that it was delicious.

Really needs a deep clean & you could hear everything from the room beside & if the moved about it shook the whole villa

Food very good, rooms are comfortable and cleaned frequently.
