It was a kitchenette with microwave and fridge so it was possible to prepare ones own meals. The proprietor had done a good job of renovating and was a very friendly person with whom we had some enjoyable conversations.

Quiet hour was stated as being at 11:00 pm and was honoured by most people but I did have to go out at Midnight ion one night as two persons were talking fairly loudly at the outside chatting table considering the hour. The persons responded very well with apologies on my polite request so this was solved well.

The location is wonderful and very easy access. I love that the hotel is right across the way from a coffee shop. I locked myself out of my room and the owner was so very kind to me and helped me immediately. She also recommended I stay in a Queen room noticing I was by myself. I loved that my comfort came her priority. Hazelton is a beautiful country and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Clean room, comfortable bed, great location. Good stop for long road trips.

The outside doesn’t look like much but don’t let it fool you. Inside is nice!

So clean and friendly check in -keurig coffee pods and new mugs got switched out each day -comfy beds -great bakery across the street that roasts their own coffee

Quite dated, but the super cleanliness made up for it. -no parking spots left to plug in the block heater when we got back a couple of nights

I always enjoy my stays at the Bulkleu Valley. The couple who run it are super friendly and the rooms have everything you need.

Very little choices of restaurants for breakfast on Sundays, little outdated. But fairly reasonable.

We checked in at 3 am and the woman was very friendly and accommodating. A convenient place to stay for the night with a staff that was welcoming and helpful (even in the middle of the night)

Chairs on the balcony upstairs made it difficult to get around with luggage.
